《誰使人復活？》
1 有一個患病的人，名叫拉撒路，住在伯大尼，就是馬利亞和她姊姊馬大的村莊。 2 這馬利亞就是那用香膏抹主，又用頭髮擦祂腳的；患病的拉撒路是她的兄弟。 3 她姊妹兩個就打發人去見耶穌，說：「主啊，祢所愛的人病了。」 4 耶穌聽見，就說：「這病不至於死，乃是為神的榮耀，叫神的兒子因此得榮耀。」 5 耶穌素來愛馬大和她妹子並拉撒路。 6 聽見拉撒路病了，就在所居之地仍住了兩天。 7 然後對門徒說：「我們再往猶太去吧。」 8 門徒說：「拉比，猶太人近來要拿石頭打祢，祢還往那裏去嗎？」 9 耶穌回答說：「白日不是有十二小時嗎？人在白日走路，就不致跌倒，因為看見這世上的光。 10 若在黑夜走路，就必跌倒，因為他沒有光。」 11 耶穌說了這話，隨後對他們說：「我們的朋友拉撒路睡了，我去叫醒他。」 12 門徒說：「主啊，他若睡了，就必好了。」 13 耶穌這話是指着他死說的，他們卻以為是說照常睡了。 14 耶穌就明明地告訴他們說：「拉撒路死了。 15 我沒有在那裏就歡喜，這是為你們的緣故，好叫你們相信。如今我們可以往他那裏去吧。」 16 多馬，又稱為低土馬，就對那同作門徒的說：「我們也去和祂同死吧。」
17 耶穌到了，就知道拉撒路在墳墓裏已經四天了。 18 伯大尼離耶路撒冷不遠，約有六里路。 19 有好些猶太人來看馬大和馬利亞，要為她們的兄弟安慰她們。 20 馬大聽見耶穌來了，就出去迎接祂；馬利亞卻仍然坐在家裏。 21 馬大對耶穌說：「主啊，祢若早在這裏，我兄弟必不死。 22 就是現在，我也知道，祢無論向神求甚麼，神也必賜給祢。」 23 耶穌說：「你兄弟必然復活。」 24 馬大說：「我知道在末日復活的時候，他必復活。」 25 耶穌對她說：「復活在我，生命也在我。信我的人雖然死了，也必復活； 26 凡活着信我的人必永遠不死。你信這話嗎？」 27 馬大說：「主啊，是的，我信祢是基督，是神的兒子，就是那要臨到世界的。」 (約翰福音十一1-27)
1 Now a man named Lazarus was sick. He was from Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister Martha. 2 (This Mary, whose brother Lazarus now lay sick, was the same one who poured perfume on the Lord and wiped His feet with her hair.) 3 So the sisters sent word to Jesus, “Lord, the one You love is sick.” 4 When He heard this, Jesus said, “This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God’s glory so that God’s Son may be glorified through it.” 5 Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. 6 So when He heard that Lazarus was sick, He stayed where He was two more days, 7 and then He said to His disciples, “Let us go back to Judea.” 8 “But Rabbi,” they said, “a short while ago the Jews there tried to stone You, and yet You are going back?” 9 Jesus answered, “Are there not twelve hours of daylight? Anyone who walks in the daytime will not stumble, for they see by this world’s light. 10 It is when a person walks at night that they stumble, for they have no light.” 11 After He had said this, He went on to tell them, “Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep; but I am going there to wake him up.” 12 His disciples replied, “Lord, if he sleeps, he will get better.” 13 Jesus had been speaking of his death, but His disciples thought he meant natural sleep. 14 So then He told them plainly, “Lazarus is dead, 15 and for your sake I am glad I was not there, so that you may believe. But let us go to him.” 16 Then Thomas (also known as Didymus) said to the rest of the disciples, “Let us also go, that we may die with Him.”
17 On His arrival, Jesus found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb for four days. 18 Now Bethany was less than two miles from Jerusalem, 19 and many Jews had come to Martha and Mary to comfort them in the loss of their brother. 20 When Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went out to meet Him, but Mary stayed at home. 21 “Lord,” Martha said to Jesus, “if You had been here, my brother would not have died. 22 But I know that even now God will give You whatever You ask.” 23 Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.” 24 Martha answered, “I know he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.” 25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” 27 “Yes, Lord,” she replied, “I believe that You are the Messiah, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.” (John 11:1-27)

分享【不只是醫治，而是生命】
拉撒路病了，馬大和馬利亞差人去告訴耶穌，期待祂來醫治。但耶穌卻刻意延遲，沒有立刻前往 (v.6) 。在人看來，這似乎錯過了最佳時機；等祂來到時，拉撒路已經死了四天。馬大對耶穌說：「主啊，祢若早在這裡，我兄弟必不死。」(v.21) 這句話帶著信心，也帶著遺憾 —— 她相信耶穌能醫治，卻未必相信祂能勝過死亡。
耶穌的回應超越她的理解：「復活在我，生命也在我；信我的人雖然死了，也必復活。」(v.25) 祂不是只帶來醫治，而是宣告自己就是生命的源頭。祂將焦點從「事情會不會改變」轉向「你是否相信我是誰」。馬大原本對復活的認識，是末日的盼望 (v.24) ，但耶穌將這盼望帶到現在 —— 復活不只是將來的事件，而是在祂裡面的真實。真正的問題，不是神能不能做，而是我們是否願意相信祂的身份。
今天，我們也常把耶穌當作解決問題的幫助者，只在需要時才尋求祂。然而，耶穌要我們看見的，不只是祂能做什麼，而是祂是誰。很多時，我們尋求耶穌，是為了事情被改變；但耶穌要我們看見的，是祂本身就是答案。
【釋經亮點】
馬大說：「我知道在末日復活的時候，他必復活。」 (v.24) 這反映當時不少猶太人的信念：特別是法利賽人，相信在末日神會使義人復活 (參但以理書十二2) 。因此，復活對他們而言，是將來的盼望，是在歷史終結時才會發生的事。同時，也有像撒都該人這樣的群體，完全否認復活的存在，可見當時對復活的理解並不一致。
馬大的回答在神學上是正確的，但仍停留在「將來某一天神會做」的層面。耶穌卻將這觀念徹底翻轉，宣告：「復活在我，生命也在我。」 (v.25) 祂不是單單教導復活，而是把復活從「未來事件」帶到「當下的實在」。這正顯出聖經中「已然與未然」 (already but not yet) 的張力 —— 復活既是將來的盼望 (未然) ，也是在耶穌裡已經開始的生命 (已然) 。
更重要的是，耶穌不只是講論復活，祂即將施行復活 —— 使已經死了四天的拉撒路復活，顯出祂的權柄超越時間與死亡本身。猶太人等候末日的復活，但耶穌將復活帶到人面前。因此，真正的問題不只是你是否相信「有一天會復活」，而是你是否相信 —— 耶穌今天就能進入你的生命之中。
反思：我是否只在事情順利時，才相信神的能力？我是否將耶穌限制為「幫助者」，而不是生命的主？今天，我願不願意相信祂就是復活與生命？
禱告：主耶穌，祢不只是醫治者，更是生命的源頭，但我很多時只在需要時才來尋求祢。求祢幫助我突破對祢的限制，不再把祢框在我的理解裡。當事情未如我所願時，給我信心仍然相信祢。也求祢讓我在祢裡面得著真正的生命，不只是等候將來，而是在今天就經歷祢。以上禱告，奉主耶穌的名求，阿們。
