《情理兼備的醫治 －馬大、馬利亞與拉撒路》
17 耶穌到了，就知道拉撒路在墳墓裏已經四天了。 18 伯大尼離耶路撒冷不遠，約有六里路。 19 有好些猶太人來看馬大和馬利亞，要為她們的兄弟安慰她們。 20 馬大聽見耶穌來了，就出去迎接祂；馬利亞卻仍然坐在家裏。 21 馬大對耶穌說：「主啊，祢若早在這裏，我兄弟必不死。 22 就是現在，我也知道，祢無論向神求甚麼，神也必賜給祢。」 23 耶穌說：「你兄弟必然復活。」 24 馬大說：「我知道在末日復活的時候，他必復活。」 25 耶穌對她說：「復活在我，生命也在我。信我的人雖然死了，也必復活； 26 凡活着信我的人必永遠不死。你信這話嗎？」 27 馬大說：「主啊，是的，我信祢是基督，是神的兒子，就是那要臨到世界的。」 28 馬大說了這話，就回去暗暗地叫她妹子馬利亞，說：「夫子來了，叫你。」 29 馬利亞聽見了，就急忙起來，到耶穌那裏去。 30 那時，耶穌還沒有進村子，仍在馬大迎接他的地方。 31 那些同馬利亞在家裏安慰她的猶太人，見她急忙起來出去，就跟着她，以為她要往墳墓那裏去哭。 32 馬利亞到了耶穌那裏，看見他，就俯伏在祂腳前，說：「主啊，祢若早在這裏，我兄弟必不死。」 33 耶穌看見她哭，並看見與她同來的猶太人也哭，就心裏悲歎，又甚憂愁， 34 便說：「你們把他安放在哪裏？」他們回答說：「請主來看。」 35 耶穌哭了。 36 猶太人就說：「你看祂愛這人是何等懇切。」 37 其中有人說：「祂既然開了瞎子的眼睛，豈不能叫這人不死嗎？」38 耶穌又心裏悲歎，來到墳墓前；那墳墓是個洞，有一塊石頭擋着。 39 耶穌說：「你們把石頭挪開。」那死人的姊姊馬大對他說：「主啊，他現在必是臭了，因為他死了已經四天了。」 40 耶穌說：「我不是對你說過，你若信，就必看見神的榮耀嗎？」 41 他們就把石頭挪開。耶穌舉目望天，說：「父啊，我感謝祢，因為祢已經聽我。 42 我也知道祢常聽我，但我說這話是為周圍站着的眾人，叫他們信是祢差了我來。」 43 說了這話，就大聲呼叫說：「拉撒路出來！」 44 那死人就出來了，手腳裹着布，臉上包着手巾。耶穌對他們說：「解開，叫他走！」(約翰福音十一17-44)
17 On His arrival, Jesus found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb for four days. 18 Now Bethany was less than two miles from Jerusalem, 19 and many Jews had come to Martha and Mary to comfort them in the loss of their brother. 20 When Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went out to meet Him, but Mary stayed at home. 21‘Lord,’ Martha said to Jesus, ‘if You had been here, my brother would not have died. 22 But I know that even now God will give You whatever You ask.’ 23 Jesus said to her, ‘Your brother will rise again.’ 24 Martha answered, ‘I know he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.’ 25 Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?’ 27‘Yes, Lord,’ she replied, ‘I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.’ 28 After she had said this, she went back and called her sister Mary aside. ‘The Teacher is here,’ she said, ‘and is asking for you.’ 29 When Mary heard this, she got up quickly and went to Him. 30 Now Jesus had not yet entered the village, but was still at the place where Martha had met Him. 31 When the Jews who had been with Mary in the house, comforting her, noticed how quickly she got up and went out, they followed her, supposing she was going to the tomb to mourn there. 32 When Mary reached the place where Jesus was and saw Him, she fell at His feet and said, ‘Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.’ 33 When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come along with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in spirit and troubled. 34 ‘Where have you laid him?’ He asked. ‘Come and see, Lord,’ they replied. 35Jesus wept. 36 Then the Jews said, ‘See how He loved him!’ 37 But some of them said, ‘Could not He who opened the eyes of the blind man have kept this man from dying?’ 38 Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance. 39 ‘Take away the stone,’ He said. ‘But, Lord,’ said Martha, the sister of the dead man, ‘by this time there is a bad odour, for he has been there four days.’ 40 Then Jesus said, ‘Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?’ 41 So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, ‘Father, I thank You that You have heard me. 42I knew that You always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that You sent me.’ 43 When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, ‘Lazarus, come out!’ 44 The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth round his face. Jesus said to them, ‘Take off the grave clothes and let him go.’ (John 11:17-44)
分享：《約翰福音十一》記載了拉撒路的重病引發了一場信心的挑戰。當耶穌得知消息時，祂選擇「在所居之地仍住了兩天」(參v.6)，最終在拉撒路死後祂才到達伯大尼。對於馬大和馬利亞，這似乎是耶穌的「遲延」。她們對耶穌說：「主啊，祢若早在這裡，我兄弟必不死。」(參v.21、32) 馬大與馬利亞的反應展現了我們在面對困難時可能有的兩種姿態。馬大表現出信心的掙扎，她雖然對耶穌有所質疑，卻仍宣告相信祂的能力；馬利亞則選擇將痛苦傾訴給耶穌，讓祂與自己一同悲傷。耶穌沒有批評或拒絕她們，而是用理性與情感兩個層面醫治！
先來看馬大，她雖有疑惑，但仍然說：「我知道，即便現在，你無論向神求什麼，神也必賜給你。」(參v.22) 她的信心讓我們看見，即使在困境中，仍要努力抓住神的應許。然後耶穌說出了一句名言：「復活在我，生命也在我。信我的人雖然死了，也必復活；」(參v.25) 耶穌從理性層面教導馬大關於復活的事，以此平復她悲傷的心。
然後，耶穌見到痛哭著的馬利亞，耶穌也被深深感動並流下眼淚 (參v.33-35）。耶穌知道祂將會使拉撒路復活，所以祂哭泣不是因為拉撒路的生命走到盡頭。祂乃是與我們一同哭泣，在拉撒路的姐妹們身旁一同哀痛的主。耶穌能感受她們的痛苦以及死亡的詛咒為全人類所帶來的痛苦衝擊。這是很大的安慰，無論我們面臨怎樣的苦難，耶穌都與我們一同悲傷並扶持我們。祂不是冷漠的救主，而是能感同身受的大祭司，正如聖經所言：「因我們的大祭司並非不能體恤我們的軟弱。祂也曾凡事受過試探，與我們一樣，只是祂沒有犯罪。」(希伯來書四15)
各位，耶穌是一位情理兼備的醫生，祂能感受到我們的傷痛，並在適當的時間幫助我們。
思想及行動：你曾否感到耶穌的幫助來得似乎太遲？我們能否像馬大一樣，仍選擇相信祂的良善，還是像馬利亞一樣，將傷痛完全交給祂？向耶穌傾訴你的痛苦吧，因為祂是真正的安慰者。
禱告：親愛的天父，感謝祢賜下耶穌，成為我們生命的救主與復活的盼望。主啊，我們在苦難中常感到軟弱，但祢的眼淚告訴我們，祢深知我們的痛楚。求祢賜給我們信心，無論何時都能緊緊依靠祢。也求祢幫助我們等候祢的時間，因為祢的時間總是最好的。願我們的生命見證祢的大能，並將榮耀歸給祢。以上禱告，奉主耶穌得勝的名求，阿們。
