《信而順服》Day02
《順服祢的歷史》
1 波斯王塞魯士元年，耶和華為要應驗藉耶利米口所說的話，就激動波斯王塞魯士的心，使他下詔通告全國說：
2「波斯王塞魯士如此說：『耶和華天上的神已將天下萬國賜給我，又囑咐我在猶大的耶路撒冷為祂建造殿宇。3 在你們中間凡作他子民的，可以上猶大的耶路撒冷，在耶路撒冷重建耶和華－以色列神的殿 (只有祂是神) 。願神與這人同在。4 凡剩下的人，無論寄居何處，那地的人要用金銀、財物、牲畜幫助他，另外也要為耶路撒冷神的殿甘心獻上禮物。』」5 於是，猶大和便雅憫的族長、祭司、利未人，就是一切被神激動他心的人，都起來要上耶路撒冷去建造耶和華的殿。6 他們四圍的人就拿銀器、金子、財物、牲畜、珍寶幫助他們，另外還有甘心獻的禮物。7 塞魯士王也將耶和華殿的器皿拿出來，這器皿是尼布甲尼撒從耶路撒冷掠來、放在自己神之廟中的。8 波斯王塞魯士派庫官米提利達將這器皿拿出來，按數交給猶大的首領設巴薩。 (以斯拉記一1-8)
1 In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, in order to fulfill the word of the Lord spoken by Jeremiah, the Lord moved the heart of Cyrus king of Persia to make a proclamation throughout his realm and also to put it in writing: 2 “This is what Cyrus king of Persia says: “‘The Lord, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and he has appointed me to build a temple for Him at Jerusalem in Judah. 3 Any of his people among you may go up to Jerusalem in Judah and build the temple of the Lord, the God of Israel, the God who is in Jerusalem, and may their God be with them. 4 And in any locality where survivors may now be living, the people are to provide them with silver and gold, with goods and livestock, and with freewill offerings for the temple of God in Jerusalem.’” 5 Then the family heads of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests and Levites—everyone whose heart God had moved—prepared to go up and build the house of the Lord in Jerusalem. 6 All their neighbors assisted them with articles of silver and gold, with goods and livestock, and with valuable gifts, in addition to all the freewill offerings. 7 Moreover, King Cyrus brought out the articles belonging to the temple of the Lord, which Nebuchadnezzar had carried away from Jerusalem and had placed in the temple of his god.[a] 8 Cyrus king of Persia had them brought by Mithredath the treasurer, who counted them out to Sheshbazzar the prince of Judah. 分享：《以斯拉記》的起首並非始於以斯拉本人上耶路撒冷，而是記載於一百年前，波斯滅巴比倫後，塞魯士王下詔讓被擄的以色列人回歸開始。
「波斯王塞魯士元年，耶和華為要應驗藉耶利米口所說的話，就激動波斯王塞魯士的心，使他下詔通告全國說⋯⋯」(以斯拉記一1) 這裡所說耶利米的話，是指先知傳遞神的說話：因著眾人沒有聽從神的話，故耶和華必讓巴比倫王攻擊以色列人，耶路撒冷必荒涼七十年；而七十年後，神必刑罰巴比倫，並再次眷顧以色列人，讓他們回歸，以顯示神向祂子民所懷的是賜平安的意念。(參耶利米書廿五8-12、廿九10-14) 以斯拉所記載的以色列民回歸歷史，以神對先知說話的應驗為開始，又強調波斯塞魯士王得著神的囑咐。(參以斯拉記一) 後來，《以斯拉記》還記載了重建聖殿所遇到的各種反對和難阻，但最後還是在神的保守下竣工。
這些歷史的追溯，重申了不管我們面對怎樣的境況，神才是歷史的主宰，祂一直都在掌權。我們要順服神為我們帶來的歷史教訓，更重要的是相信祂對我們所懷賜平安的意念，讓我們末後有指望，「你們要呼求我，禱告我，我就應允你們。你們尋求我，若專心尋求我，就必尋見。」(耶利米書廿九12-13)
以斯拉就是如此順服神帶來的歷史教訓，才能深切的了解以色列人與異族通婚的禍害，並馬上改正過來。
主神說：「我是阿拉法，我是俄梅戛，是昔在、今在、以後永在的全能者。」(啟示錄一8) 你願意順服神帶給我們的歷史教訓嗎？
反思：在我過往的生命中，神曾帶領我經歷怎樣的教訓呢？這對我現今有甚麼影響？
禱告：親愛的天父，感謝祢的一直掌權，感謝祢讓歷史留下來，感謝祢讓我們見到祢總是要賜平安給我們的意念。就讓我們不要輕忽歷史，不要忽視過往帶來的教訓，也不要忘記祢從往昔開始加給我們的恩典，讓我們以順服的心走在祢為我們計劃的道上。奉主名求，阿們。
