《傳揚主名的智慧》
29 上帝賜給所羅門極大的智慧聰明和廣大的心，如同海沙不可測量。 30 所羅門的智慧超過東方人和埃及人的一切智慧。 31 他的智慧勝過萬人，勝過以斯拉人以探，並瑪曷的兒子希幔、甲各、達大的智慧。他的名聲傳揚在四圍的列國。 32 他作箴言三千句，詩歌一千零五首。 33 他講論草木，自黎巴嫩的香柏樹直到牆上長的牛膝草，又講論飛禽走獸、昆蟲水族。 34 天下列王聽見所羅門的智慧，就都差人來聽他的智慧話。(列王紀上四29-34)
1 示巴女王聽見所羅門因耶和華之名所得的名聲，就來要用難解的話試問所羅門。 2 跟隨她到耶路撒冷的人甚多，又有駱駝馱着香料、寶石，和許多金子。她來見了所羅門王，就把心裏所有的對所羅門都說出來。 3 所羅門王將她所問的都答上了，沒有一句不明白、不能答的。 4 示巴女王見所羅門大有智慧，和他所建造的宮室， 5 席上的珍饈美味，羣臣分列而坐，僕人兩旁侍立，以及他們的衣服裝飾和酒政的衣服裝飾，又見他上耶和華殿的臺階，就詫異得神不守舍； 6 對王說：「我在本國裏所聽見論到你的事和你的智慧實在是真的！ 7 我先不信那些話，及至我來親眼見了才知道人所告訴我的還不到一半。你的智慧和你的福分越過我所聽見的風聲。 8 你的臣子、你的僕人常侍立在你面前聽你智慧的話是有福的！ 9 耶和華－你的上帝是應當稱頌的！祂喜悅你，使你坐以色列的國位；因為祂永遠愛以色列，所以立你作王，使你秉公行義。」 10 於是，示巴女王將一百二十他連得金子和寶石，與極多的香料，送給所羅門王。她送給王的香料，以後奉來的不再有這樣多。(列王紀上十1-10)
29 God gave Solomon wisdom and very great insight, and a breadth of understanding as measureless as the sand on the seashore. 30 Solomon’s wisdom was greater than the wisdom of all the people of the East, and greater than all the wisdom of Egypt. 31 He was wiser than anyone else, including Ethan the Ezrahite—wiser than Heman, Kalkol and Darda, the sons of Mahol. And his fame spread to all the surrounding nations. 32 He spoke three thousand proverbs and his songs numbered a thousand and five. 33 He spoke about plant life, from the cedar of Lebanon to the hyssop that grows out of walls. He also spoke about animals and birds, reptiles and fish. 34 From all nations people came to listen to Solomon’s wisdom, sent by all the kings of the world, who had heard of his wisdom. (1 Kings 4:29-34)
1 When the queen of Sheba heard about the fame of Solomon and his relationship to the Lord, she came to test Solomon with hard questions. 2 Arriving at Jerusalem with a very great caravan—with camels carrying spices, large quantities of gold, and precious stones—she came to Solomon and talked with him about all that she had on her mind. 3 Solomon answered all her questions; nothing was too hard for the king to explain to her. 4 When the queen of Sheba saw all the wisdom of Solomon and the palace he had built, 5 the food on his table, the seating of his officials, the attending servants in their robes, his cupbearers, and the burnt offerings he made at the temple of the Lord, she was overwhelmed. 6 She said to the king, “The report I heard in my own country about your achievements and your wisdom is true. 7 But I did not believe these things until I came and saw with my own eyes. Indeed, not even half was told me; in wisdom and wealth you have far exceeded the report I heard. 8 How happy your people must be! How happy your officials, who continually stand before you and hear your wisdom! 9 Praise be to the Lord your God, who has delighted in you and placed you on the throne of Israel. Because of the Lord’s eternal love for Israel, He has made you king to maintain justice and righteousness.” 10 And she gave the king 120 talents of gold, large quantities of spices, and precious stones. Never again were so many spices brought in as those the queen of Sheba gave to King Solomon. (1 Kings 10:1-10)

分享：昨天提到，所羅門擁有前無古人、後無來者的智慧，超越地上各族各邦。而他其中一個成就，就是寫下了很多箴言、詩歌。(他作箴言三千句，詩歌一千零五首。參王上四32) 經文中提到他的寫作內容包括各樣事情，如：草木植物、飛禽走獸、昆蟲水族⋯⋯ 使天下列王都差人來聽他的智慧話。如有讀過箴言，就會知道所羅門在其中常述說上帝的偉大，因為他知道上帝就是那創天造地的主！所羅門透過上帝賜予的智慧來寫作，並彰顯祂的榮耀，是何等美麗的事情呢！
《列王紀上十》記載了另一件事，就是示巴女王來見識並考驗所羅門的智慧，最後當然是心悅誠服。經文形容：「所羅門王將她所問的都答上了，沒有一句不明白、不能答的。」(列王紀上十3) 最後，示巴女王如此說：「耶和華－你的上帝是應當稱頌的！」(列王紀上十9a) 一個外邦女王竟然能夠認識到上帝的榮耀，更開口稱頌祂。
各位，還記得耶穌說「按才幹接受託付的比喻」嗎？(參馬太福音廿五14-30) 如果一個人忠心事主，善用主所給他的恩賜，主就會繼續把恩賜、能力多加於他。相反，主會把人所擁有的收回。「因為凡有的，還要加給他，叫他有餘；沒有的，連他所有的也要奪過來。」(馬太福音廿五29) 所羅門正是前者，他一直願意以著作來見證上帝，又沒有僭越了上帝的名，讓他人知道自己的智慧源於上帝。(示巴女王就是聽見所羅門的智慧是「因耶和華之名」所得的，參王上十1)
各位，我們今天從上帝那裡領受了什麼恩賜、能力？有沒有好好運用並見證上帝的名？當得到別人的稱讚時，我們是自高自大，僭越上帝的名，還是將榮耀歸給上帝呢？ 但願我們的生命能叫更多人認識並稱頌上帝。
反思：你擁有什麼恩賜、能力？想想怎樣用這些恩賜來榮耀上帝。
禱告：親愛的天父，感謝祢賜我們不同的恩賜、能力，求祢加力，叫我們善用這些恩賜來榮耀祢的名。雖然我們沒有所羅門那樣超然的智慧，但我們仍然可以按着祢給我們的恩賜，用不同的方法，在不同的處境中榮耀你，使更多人知道祢就是那位應當稱頌的上帝。以上禱告，奉主耶穌得勝的名求，阿們。
