誰是耶穌朋友
9 耶穌從那裏往前走，看見一個人名叫馬太，在稅關坐著，就對他說：「來跟從我！」他就起來跟從耶穌。10 耶穌在屋裏坐席的時候，有好些稅吏和罪人來，與耶穌和祂的門徒一同坐席。11 法利賽人看見，就對耶穌的門徒說：「你們的老師為甚麼與稅吏和罪人一同吃飯呢？」12 耶穌聽見，就說：「健康的人用不著醫生；有病的人才用得著。13 經上說：『我喜愛憐憫，不喜愛祭祀。』這句話的意思，你們去揣摩。我不是來召義人，而是召罪人。」(馬太福音九9-13．和修)
9 As Jesus went on from there, He saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector’s booth. “Follow me,” He told him, and Matthew got up and followed Him. 10 While Jesus was having dinner at Matthew’s house, many tax collectors and sinners came and ate with Him and His disciples. 11 When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?” 12 On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 13 But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” (Matthew 9:9-13.NIV)
分享：聖經中多次提到耶穌與罪人一起，當時的宗教領袖對耶穌此行為感到憤怒，他們斷 定耶穌是罪人的朋友。他們不單止嫌棄罪人的身份，更鄙視耶穌關心罪人的行動。事實上，耶穌的確是罪人的朋友，祂著緊罪人的生命。因為祂說：「我不是來召義人悔改，而是召罪人悔改。」(路加福音五32)
在道德上，耶穌並非與罪人同夥，祂從來不曾與他們同流合污。然而在實際上，祂卻沒有遠離這些罪人。祂願意花時間與罪人共處，並且成為他們的朋友。就像耶穌一樣，在日常生活中，我們總是會與各式各樣的人打交道。羅馬早期基督教神學家特土良(Tertullian)這樣描述當時基督徒與非基督徒之間的關係：「我們生活在你們中間、吃相同的食物、穿一樣的衣服⋯⋯我們彼此都是在這個世界旅居，參與公共事務，去市集、浴場、逛攤販、進工廠、住旅館⋯⋯」
既然我們都是蒙恩的罪人，我們豈不是更明白拯救罪人的重要性嗎？試想像，如果耶穌也嫌棄我們罪人的身份，我和你今天又豈會得著拯救，得稱為上帝的兒女？
反思：在我們的朋友當中，有多少人是失喪的罪人？我們有多著緊他們的生命？
行動：踏出福音的第一步，主動關心一個未信的親友吧。
