熟讀神的話語
1 當時，耶穌被聖靈引到曠野，受魔鬼的試探。2 祂禁食四十晝夜，後來就餓了。3 那試探者進前來對祂說：「祢若是上帝的兒子，叫這些石頭變成食物吧。」4 耶穌卻回答說：「經上記著：『人活著，不是單靠食物，乃是靠上帝口裏所出的一切話。』」5 魔鬼就帶祂進了聖城，叫祂站在聖殿頂上，6 對祂說：「祢若是上帝的兒子，就跳下去！因為經上記著：『主要為祢命令祂的使者，用手托住祢，免得祢的腳碰在石頭上。』」7 耶穌對牠說：「經上又記著：『不可試探主—你的上帝。』」8 魔鬼又帶祂上了一座很高的山，將世上的萬國和萬國的榮華都指給祂看，9 對祂說：「祢若俯伏拜我，我就把這一切賜給祢。」10 耶穌說：「撒但，退去！因為經上記著：『要拜主—你的上帝，惟獨事奉祂。』」11 於是，魔鬼離開了耶穌，立刻有天使來伺候祂。(馬太福音四1-11．和修)
1 Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. 2 After fasting forty days and forty nights, He was hungry. 3 The tempter came to Him and said, “If You are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.” 4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ ” 5 Then the devil took Him to the holy city and had Him stand on the highest point of the temple. 6 “If You are the Son of God,” he said, “throw Yourself down. For it is written: “ ‘He will command His angels concerning You, and they will lift You up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’ ” 7 Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’ ” 8 Again, the devil took Him to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. 9 “All this I will give You,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.” 10 Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only.’ ” 11 Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended Him. (Matthew 4:1-11. NIV)
分享：耶穌受魔鬼的試探，可說是耶穌開始事奉的第一個挑戰。這挑戰並非巧合，乃是在聖靈的引領下，讓屬天與屬地的兩大勢力對決。感謝上帝，耶穌在面對試探時所獲得的勝利，為我們樹立了一個絕佳榜樣，好讓我們在面對魔鬼的誘惑時，可以效法祂。
首先，我們要注意，魔鬼是在耶穌飢餓與疲倦時試探祂，魔鬼也會運用同樣的技倆對付我們。牠會等待我們陷入身心疲倦的時刻，企圖用可立即滿足我們需要的誘餌迷惑我們。當我們面對這些挑戰時，遵循耶穌的方式，以神的話語來抵擋魔鬼：「經上記著：『人活著，不是單靠食物，乃是靠上帝口裏所出的一切話。』」(馬太福音四4節，參申命記八3)。聖經當中有許多關於面對私慾、貪念、驕傲、謊言及其他罪的教導。如果我們將這些經文記在心裏，就可以在面對攻擊的時候運用出來。
耶穌三次以「經上記著說」來抵擋魔鬼，而沒有用上什麼神奇超然的方法，正是要告訴屬祂的人：你都做得到。各位，你願意熟讀神的話嗎？
