堅定意志 (約書亞)
32 探子中有人論到所窺探之地，向以色列人報惡信，說：「我們所窺探、經過之地是吞吃居民之地，我們在那裏所看見的人民都身量高大。33 我們在那裏看見亞衲族人，就是偉人；他們是偉人的後裔。據我們看，自己就如蚱蜢一樣；據他們看，我們也是如此。」(民數記十三32-33)
1 當下，全會眾大聲喧嚷；那夜百姓都哭號。2 以色列眾人向摩西、亞倫發怨言；全會眾對他們說：「巴不得我們早死在埃及地，或是死在這曠野。3 耶和華為甚麼把我們領到那地，使我們倒在刀下呢？我們的妻子和孩子必被擄掠。我們回埃及去豈不好嗎？」4 眾人彼此說：「我們不如立一個首領回埃及去吧！」5 摩西、亞倫就俯伏在以色列全會眾面前。6 窺探地的人中，嫩的兒子約書亞和耶孚尼的兒子迦勒撕裂衣服，7 對以色列全會眾說：「我們所窺探、經過之地是極美之地。8 耶和華若喜悅我們，就必將我們領進那地，把地賜給我們；那地原是流奶與蜜之地。9 但你們不可背叛耶和華，也不要怕那地的居民；因為他們是我們的食物，並且蔭庇他們的已經離開他們。有耶和華與我們同在，不要怕他們！」10 但全會眾說：「拿石頭打死他們二人。」忽然，耶和華的榮光在會幕中向以色列眾人顯現。(民數記十四1-10)
所以我們可以放膽說：主是幫助我的，我必不懼怕；人能把我怎麼樣呢？（希伯來書十三6）
32 And they spread among the Israelites a bad report about the land they had explored. They said, “The land we explored devours those living in it. All the people we saw there are of great size. 33 We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” (Numbers 13:32-33)
1 That night all the members of the community raised their voices and wept aloud. 2 All the Israelites grumbled against Moses and Aaron, and the whole assembly said to them, “If only we had died in Egypt! Or in this wilderness! 3 Why is the LORD bringing us to this land only to let us fall by the sword? Our wives and children will be taken as plunder. Wouldn’t it be better for us to go back to Egypt?” 4 And they said to each other, “We should choose a leader and go back to Egypt.” 5 Then Moses and Aaron fell facedown in front of the whole Israelite assembly gathered there. 6 Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had explored the land, tore their clothes 7 and said to the entire Israelite assembly, “The land we passed through and explored is exceedingly good. 8 If the LORD is pleased with us, he will lead us into that land, a land flowing with milk and honey, and will give it to us. 9 Only do not rebel against the LORD. And do not be afraid of the people of the land, because we will devour them. Their protection is gone, but the LORD is with us. Do not be afraid of them.” 10 But the whole assembly talked about stoning them. Then the glory of the LORD appeared at the tent of meeting to all the Israelites. (Numbers 14:1-10)
So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?” (Hebrews 13:6)

分享：當我們努力持守召命人生時，旁邊總會有人不認同你的堅守，甚至以你的信仰和信念去攻擊及取笑你。他們的目的只有一個，就是想你放棄追求真理，與他們為伍。所以，我們務要小心提防，並立定心志，堅持到底。
今天讓我們看看舊約聖經人物約書亞。當摩西還在世的時候，約書亞一直在摩西身邊，親眼見證了神在出埃及和曠野中所行的奇事。這些經歷使他深信神的能力和信實，讓他有勇氣為主承擔領導以色列人進入迦南之重責。《民數記》記載在進入迦南地之先，摩西曾派了十二名探子窺探當地。當探子回來時，其中十名探子報惡信，指出迦南雖然是流奶與蜜之地，但滿是巨大的敵人，以色列人根本不能打敗他們。他們的惡信令民情洶湧，百姓埋怨摩西與阿倫，並要殺掉他們，回到埃及去。然而，作為探子的約書亞和迦勒仍不畏懼，不與那十名探子同流合污。他們堅持自己所信的，鼓勵百姓。對於他們的堅定相信，神如此回應：「29 從二十歲以外、向我發怨言的，30 必不得進我起誓應許叫你們住的那地；惟有耶孚尼的兒子迦勒和嫩的兒子約書亞才能進去。」(民數記十四29-30) 及後，神更揀選約書亞繼承摩西作以色列的領袖，帶領以色列進入迦南。雖然這是一項艱巨的任務，而且充滿了未知和挑戰，但神向約書亞作出保證：「我豈沒有吩咐你嗎？你當剛強壯膽！不要懼怕，也不要驚惶；因為你無論往哪裏去，耶和華－你的神必與你同在。」(約書亞記一9)
透過約書亞的事蹟，我們要明白「召命人生」必須要用堅定的意志來承擔，這也是堅守信仰的關鍵。各位，在我們信仰的旅途中，必定有很多拒絕你的、抵擋你的和迫害你的，但面對這些困難和挑戰時，讓我們再次記起摩西臨終與約書亞所說的話：「耶和華必在你前面行；祂必與你同在，必不撇下你，也不丟棄你。不要懼怕，也不要驚惶。」(申命記三十一8)「神與你同在」的應許在舊約的不同書卷都有記載，這可不是巧合，而是語重深長的提醒：「不要懼怕，因為神與我們同在」。就讓我們像約書亞一樣，以堅定意志來活出人生的召命。
反思：當神要向你說：「祂必與你同在，必不撇下你，也不丟棄你」，你的反應是什麼？你會怎樣回應神呢？
禱告： 親愛的天父，求祢原諒我們某些時候會因別人的目光而令自己的信心變得軟弱；某些時候又不能專心一志去跟隨祢，活出祢給我們的召命。然而，我感謝祢透過今日的靈修再次提醒我們，祢早已應許與我們同在，必不撇下我們。就讓這份應許使我們重新站起，並為祢活出見証。天父，謝謝祢！奉主名求，阿們。
