《主靠近飢餓者》
30 使徒聚集到耶穌那裏，將一切所做的事、所傳的道全告訴祂。31 祂就說：「你們來，同我暗暗地到曠野地方去歇一歇。」這是因為來往的人多，他們連吃飯也沒有工夫。32 他們就坐船，暗暗地往曠野地方去。33 眾人看見他們去，有許多認識他們的，就從各城步行，一同跑到那裏，比他們先趕到了。34 耶穌出來，見有許多的人，就憐憫他們，因為他們如同羊沒有牧人一般，於是開口教訓他們許多道理。35 天已經晚了，門徒進前來，說：「這是野地，天已經晚了，36 請叫眾人散開，他們好往四面鄉村裏去，自己買甚麼吃。」37 耶穌回答說：「你們給他們吃吧。」門徒說：「我們可以去買二十兩銀子的餅給他們吃嗎？」38 耶穌說：「你們有多少餅，可以去看看。」他們知道了，就說：「五個餅，兩條魚。」39 耶穌吩咐他們，叫眾人一幫一幫地坐在青草地上。40 眾人就一排一排地坐下，有一百一排的，有五十一排的。41 耶穌拿着這五個餅，兩條魚，望着天祝福，擘開餅，遞給門徒，擺在眾人面前，也把那兩條魚分給眾人。42 他們都吃，並且吃飽了。43 門徒就把碎餅碎魚收拾起來，裝滿了十二個籃子。44 吃餅的男人共有五千。(馬可福音六30-44)
30 The apostles gathered around Jesus and reported to Him all they had done and taught. 31 Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, He said to them, “Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.” 32 So they went away by themselves in a boat to a solitary place. 33 But many who saw them leaving recognized them and ran on foot from all the towns and got there ahead of them. 34 When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, He had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So He began teaching them many things. 35 By this time it was late in the day, so His disciples came to Him. “This is a remote place,” they said, “and it’s already very late. 36 Send the people away so that they can go to the surrounding countryside and villages and buy themselves something to eat.” 37 But He answered, “You give them something to eat.” They said to Him, “That would take more than half a year’s wages! Are we to go and spend that much on bread and give it to them to eat?” 38 “How many loaves do you have?” He asked. “Go and see.” When they found out, they said, “Five—and two fish.” 39 Then Jesus directed them to have all the people sit down in groups on the green grass. 40 So they sat down in groups of hundreds and fifties. 41 Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to His disciples to distribute to the people. He also divided the two fish among them all. 42 They all ate and were satisfied, 43 and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces of bread and fish. 44 The number of the men who had eaten was five thousand. (Mark 6:30-44)
【耶穌的見證 ── 你們給他們吃吧】：
這一天，耶穌和門徒其實已經很累。使徒剛剛完成服事回來，耶穌原本想帶他們到曠野「歇一歇」，因為忙碌得連吃飯的時間也沒有。可是當他們到達目的地，群眾竟然比他們更早來到。耶穌沒有嫌他們麻煩。經文說，祂「憐憫他們，因為他們如同羊沒有牧人一般」(v.34)，於是教導他們。到了晚上，另一個很實際的問題出現了：大家肚餓了。
門徒提出一個很合理的方法：「請叫眾人散開。」(v.36) 讓他們自己去附近買東西吃。但耶穌的回答很值得留意：「你們給他們吃吧。」(v.37) 門徒看見五千人的需要，第一個反應是：我們做不到。耶穌卻將問題帶回他們身上：你們現在有甚麼？所以祂問：「你們有多少餅，可以去看看。」(v.38) 結果只有五個餅、兩條魚。對五千人來說，幾乎等於甚麼也沒有；但耶穌沒有嫌少。祂接過門徒僅有的，祝福、擘開、交給他們，最後眾人不但吃了，而且「吃飽了」(v.42)。
這裏讓我們看見耶穌的憐憫，不只是「覺得他們很可憐」。真正的憐憫會走近人的需要，並且問：現在可以為他做甚麼？耶穌甚至讓門徒一起參與。因為祂不只要餵飽五千人，更要教門徒學懂怎樣成為牧養人的人。
【效法主的提醒】
我們每天也會遇見很多需要。
有人生病、有人失業、有人照顧小朋友忙得喘不過氣、有人搬屋、有人家裏突然發生事情⋯⋯ 我們可能真的關心，也會說：「為你禱告。」但有時候，說完之後就沒有下一步。門徒其實也不是沒有看見需要，他們甚至主動告訴耶穌：「天已經晚了。」問題不是他們看不見，而是他們認為這個需要應該由別人處理。
這一點很值得我們留意。心理學有一個現象叫 「旁觀者效應」(Bystander Effect)：當現場有很多人時，我們反而容易覺得「應該會有人幫」，結果每個人都等待別人先行動。教會裏也可能如此：「應該有人會關心他」、「小組長會處理」、「牧師應該知道」、「他家人會幫他的。」
耶穌卻說：「你們給他們吃吧。」所以今天，當你看見一個需要，不妨先不要問：「誰會幫他？」而是問一句：「我手上有甚麼？」你未必有能力解決整個問題，但可能有「五餅二魚」：送一餐飯、幫忙接一次小朋友、開車載他一程、替他處理一件小事、傳一個訊息問候，甚至陪他坐一會兒。不要因為自己做不到全部，就甚麼也不做。五餅二魚很少，但當門徒願意拿出來，耶穌就使用他們所有的，成為別人的祝福。今天，可以做一個簡單的操練：想起一個最近有需要的人，除了為他禱告，再為他實際做一件事。
今天，效法耶穌 ── 看見一個需要，就用手上所有的，為他多做一點。
禱告：主耶穌，祢看見人的需要，不只是憐憫，更願意實際回應。求祢赦免我有時看見需要，卻以為總會有別人幫忙。求聖靈給我敏銳和願意的心，不因自己能力有限就甚麼也不做，而是把手上的「五餅二魚」交給祢，用一個行動、一點時間、一份關心，成為別人的祝福。阿們。
