《你想改變嗎？》
13 猶太人的逾越節近了，耶穌就上耶路撒冷去。14 看見殿裏有賣牛、羊、鴿子的，並有兌換銀錢的人坐在那裏，15 耶穌就拿繩子做成鞭子，把牛羊都趕出殿去，倒出兌換銀錢之人的銀錢，推翻他們的桌子，16 又對賣鴿子的說：「把這些東西拿去！不要將我父的殿當作買賣的地方。」 17 祂的門徒就想起經上記着說：「我為祢的殿心裏焦急，如同火燒。」 18 因此猶太人問祂說：「祢既做這些事，還顯甚麼神蹟給我們看呢？」 19 耶穌回答說：「你們拆毀這殿，我三日內要再建立起來。」 20 猶太人便說：「這殿是四十六年才造成的，祢三日內就再建立起來嗎？」 21 但耶穌這話是以祂的身體為殿。22 所以到祂從死裏復活以後，門徒就想起祂說過這話，便信了聖經和耶穌所說的。23 當耶穌在耶路撒冷過逾越節的時候，有許多人看見祂所行的神蹟，就信了祂的名。24 耶穌卻不將自己交託他們；因為祂知道萬人，25 也用不着誰見證人怎樣，因祂知道人心裏所存的。
1 有一個法利賽人，名叫尼哥底母，是猶太人的官。2 這人夜裏來見耶穌，說：「拉比，我們知道祢是由神那裏來作師傅的；因為祢所行的神蹟，若沒有神同在，無人能行。」 3 耶穌回答說：「我實實在在地告訴你，人若不重生，就不能見神的國。」 4 尼哥底母說：「人已經老了，如何能重生呢？豈能再進母腹生出來嗎？」 5 耶穌說：「我實實在在地告訴你，人若不是從水和聖靈生的，就不能進神的國。6 從肉身生的就是肉身；從靈生的就是靈。7 我說：『你們必須重生』，你不要以為希奇。8 風隨着意思吹，你聽見風的響聲，卻不曉得從哪裏來，往哪裏去；凡從聖靈生的，也是如此。」 9 尼哥底母問祂說：「怎能有這事呢？」 10 耶穌回答說：「你是以色列人的先生，還不明白這事嗎？11 我實實在在地告訴你，我們所說的是我們知道的；我們所見證的是我們見過的；你們卻不領受我們的見證。12 我對你們說地上的事，你們尚且不信，若說天上的事，如何能信呢？13 除了從天降下、仍舊在天的人子，沒有人升過天。14 摩西在曠野怎樣舉蛇，人子也必照樣被舉起來，15 叫一切信祂的都得永生。(約翰福音二13-三15)
13 When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover, Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 14 In the temple courts He found people selling cattle, sheep and doves, and others sitting at tables exchanging money. 15 So He made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle; He scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. 16 To those who sold doves He said, “Get these out of here! Stop turning my Father’s house into a market!” 17 His disciples remembered that it is written: “Zeal for Your house will consume me.” 18 The Jews then responded to Him, “What sign can You show us to prove Your authority to do all this?” 19 Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days.” 20 They replied, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and You are going to raise it in three days?” 21 But the temple He had spoken of was His body. 22 After He was raised from the dead, His disciples recalled what He had said. Then they believed the scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken. 23 Now while He was in Jerusalem at the Passover Festival, many people saw the signs He was performing and believed in His name. 24 But Jesus would not entrust Himself to them, for He knew all people. 25 He did not need any testimony about mankind, for He knew what was in each person.
1 Now there was a Pharisee, a man named Nicodemus who was a member of the Jewish ruling council. 2 He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs You are doing if God were not with Him.” 3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” 4 “How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!” 5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. 6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. 7 You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.” 9 “How can this be?” Nicodemus asked. 10 “You are Israel’s teacher,” said Jesus, “and do you not understand these things? 11 Very truly I tell you, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony. 12 I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things? 13 No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven—the Son of Man. 14 Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, 15 that everyone who believes may have eternal life in Him.” (John 2:13-3:15)

當耶穌進入聖殿，看見人把敬拜變成買賣，就用繩子做成鞭子，把牛羊趕出去，推倒兌換銀錢之人的桌子，說：「不要將我父的殿當作買賣的地方！」(v.16) 這一幕讓人痛心 —— 原本屬於神的地方，竟被人的利益佔據。耶穌所潔淨的，不只是聖殿，更是在指出：人的信仰，可能只停留在外在形式，卻失去了真正的敬拜。
接著，一位名叫尼哥底母的法利賽人，在夜裡來見耶穌。他是一個有地位、有知識、有宗教背景的人，但耶穌卻對他說：「人若不重生，就不能見神的國。」(v.3) 尼哥底母感到困惑，因為他以為信仰是累積、是提升，但耶穌指出：真正的關鍵，不是「更好」，而是「全新」。不是外在的修補，而是生命的翻轉。
耶穌進一步說，人要從水和聖靈生，這是一個從神而來的工作，就像風一樣，看不見，卻真實存在。最後，祂提到人子要被舉起，叫一切信祂的都得永生。整段經文提醒我們：信仰，不只是行為上的改變，而是生命本質的更新。你不是需要變得更好一點，而是需要一個全新的生命。你想改變嗎？
【釋經亮點】
當耶穌對尼哥底母提到「重生」時，他的第一反應是：「人已經老了，如何能再進母腹生出來呢？」(v.4) 這顯示他將「重生」理解為一個肉身、物理性的再一次出生。作為一位熟悉律法的教師，他習慣從外在、理性的層面理解屬靈的事，卻忽略了神要在內裡動工。這其實反映了當時猶太人的普遍觀念：他們以為只要有亞伯拉罕子孫的身份、遵守律法、維持宗教生活，就已經在神的國裡，信仰是一種「累積」與「改進」，而不是「重造」。
然而，歷代教會的反思也不斷指出這個盲點。初期教會如奧古斯丁強調重生完全出於神的恩典；中世紀曾將重生與洗禮過度等同，容易讓人誤以為外在儀式就是生命更新；到了宗教改革，馬丁路德與約翰加爾文等提醒人，重生是聖靈在內心的工作，不能被宗教行為取代；近代如約翰衛斯理也強調重生必然帶來真實的生命改變。
因此，耶穌對尼哥底母的挑戰，也是對我們的提醒：真正的問題不是「我做得夠不夠」，而是「我是否真的被神更新，得著一個從上而來的新生命？」
反思：我是否只是在「做基督徒」，卻沒有真正被更新？今天，我願不願意讓神從內到外改變我？
禱告：主耶穌，祢知道我的生命不只是需要改變行為，而是需要被更新。求祢光照我裡面一切不屬於祢的地方，潔淨我，就像祢潔淨聖殿一樣。也求祢賜下從聖靈而來的新生命，使我不再只是外在敬虔，而是真正從心裡被祢翻轉。讓我願意放下自己，接受祢的更新，活出一個屬於祢的生命。以上禱告，奉主耶穌的名求，阿們。
