《祂究竟是誰？》
1 太初有道，道與神同在，道就是神。2 這道太初與神同在。3 萬物是藉着祂造的；凡被造的，沒有一樣不是藉着祂造的。4 生命在祂裏頭，這生命就是人的光。 5 光照在黑暗裏，黑暗卻不接受光。6 有一個人，是從神那裏差來的，名叫約翰。7 這人來，為要作見證，就是為光作見證，叫眾人因他可以信。8 他不是那光，乃是要為光作見證。9 那光是真光，照亮一切生在世上的人。10 祂在世界，世界也是藉着祂造的，世界卻不認識祂。11 祂到自己的地方來，自己的人倒不接待祂。12 凡接待祂的，就是信祂名的人，祂就賜他們權柄作神的兒女。13 這等人不是從血氣生的，不是從情慾生的，也不是從人意生的，乃是從神生的。14 道成了肉身，住在我們中間，充充滿滿地有恩典有真理。我們也見過祂的榮光，正是父獨生子的榮光。15 約翰為祂作見證，喊着說：「這就是我曾說：『那在我以後來的，反成了在我以前的，因祂本來在我以前。』」 16 從祂豐滿的恩典裏，我們都領受了，而且恩上加恩。17 律法本是藉着摩西傳的；恩典和真理都是由耶穌基督來的。18 從來沒有人看見神，只有在父懷裏的獨生子將祂表明出來。
19 約翰所作的見證記在下面：猶太人從耶路撒冷差祭司和利未人到約翰那裏，問他說：「你是誰？」 20 他就明說，並不隱瞞，明說：「我不是基督。」 21 他們又問他說：「這樣，你是誰呢？是以利亞嗎？」他說：「我不是。」「是那先知嗎？」他回答說：「不是。」 22 於是他們說：「你到底是誰，叫我們好回覆差我們來的人。你自己說，你是誰？」 23 他說：「我就是那在曠野有人聲喊着說：『修直主的道路』，正如先知以賽亞所說的。」 24 那些人是法利賽人差來的； 25 他們就問他說：「你既不是基督，不是以利亞，也不是那先知，為甚麼施洗呢？」 26 約翰回答說：「我是用水施洗，但有一位站在你們中間，是你們不認識的，27 就是那在我以後來的，我給祂解鞋帶也不配。」 28 這是在約旦河外伯大尼，約翰施洗的地方作的見證。
29 次日，約翰看見耶穌來到他那裏，就說：「看哪，神的羔羊，除去世人罪孽的！30 這就是我曾說：『有一位在我以後來、反成了在我以前的，因祂本來在我以前。』 31 我先前不認識祂，如今我來用水施洗，為要叫祂顯明給以色列人。」 32 約翰又作見證說：「我曾看見聖靈，彷彿鴿子從天降下，住在祂的身上。33 我先前不認識祂，只是那差我來用水施洗的、對我說：『你看見聖靈降下來，住在誰的身上，誰就是用聖靈施洗的。』 34 我看見了，就證明這是神的兒子。」(約翰福音一1-34)
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In Him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. 6 There was a man sent from God whose name was John. 7 He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all might believe. 8 He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light. 9 The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize Him. 11 He came to that which was His own, but His own did not receive Him. 12 Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.
14 The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. 15 (John testified concerning Him. He cried out, saying, “This is the one I spoke about when I said, ‘He who comes after me has surpassed me because He was before me.’ ”) 16 Out of His fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given. 17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is Himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made Him known.
19 Now this was John’s testimony when the Jewish leaders in Jerusalem sent priests and Levites to ask him who he was. 20 He did not fail to confess, but confessed freely, “I am not the Messiah.” 21 They asked him, “Then who are you? Are you Elijah?” He said, “I am not.” “Are you the Prophet?” He answered, “No.” 22 Finally they said, “Who are you? Give us an answer to take back to those who sent us. What do you say about yourself?” 23 John replied in the words of Isaiah the prophet, “I am the voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Make straight the way for the Lord.’ ” 24 Now the Pharisees who had been sent 25 questioned him, “Why then do you baptize if you are not the Messiah, nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?” 26 “I baptize with water,” John replied, “but among you stands one you do not know. 27 He is the one who comes after me, the straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie.” 28 This all happened at Bethany on the other side of the Jordan, where John was baptizing.
29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! 30 This is the one I meant when I said, ‘A man who comes after me has surpassed me because He was before me.’ 31 I myself did not know Him, but the reason I came baptizing with water was that he might be revealed to Israel.” 32 Then John gave this testimony: “I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on Him. 33 And I myself did not know Him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’ 34 I have seen and I testify that this is God’s Chosen One.” (John 1:1-34)

《約翰福音》一開始，沒有馬槽、沒有伯利恆的故事，而是直接把我們帶回「起初」 —— 「太初有道，道與神同在，道就是神。」(一1) 這裡的「道」(Logos)，不只是話語，而是神自我啟示的本體。祂不是被造的，而是與神同在，並且就是神。
更震撼的是：「道成了肉身，住在我們中間。」(v.14) 永恆的神，竟然進入時間；創造萬有的主，竟然成為人，來到我們當中。祂不只是傳講真理的老師，而是真理本身。祂不只是帶來光，而是那真正的光。
然而，人對祂的回應卻出現分歧：「祂到自己的地方來，自己的人倒不接待祂。」(v.11) 但凡接待祂的，祂就賜他們權柄作神的兒女。這是一個關乎身份的轉變。施洗約翰也作見證說：「看哪，神的羔羊，除去世人罪孽的！」(v.29b) 這一句話揭示了耶穌來到世上的目的 —— 不只是顯明神，更是成就救恩。祂究竟是誰？祂是神，也是來拯救我們的主。
【釋經亮點】
「太初有道」一句開場白直接把讀者帶回《創世記》的「起初」(參創世記一1) 。對猶太人而言，「道」是神創造與啟示的能力 —— 神說「要有」，就有了 (參詩篇三十三6、9) 。在希伯來文中，「話語」與「事物」是同一個詞，反映出神的話本身帶著成就的能力。對希臘人而言，Logos則代表宇宙背後的理性與秩序，是萬物運行的根源。
然而，約翰的宣告遠遠超越這些理解：「道就是神」，並且「道成了肉身」。這不再是抽象原則，而是成為一個人 —— 耶穌基督。祂是萬有的創造者、是先知所宣講的話語、也是聖經所見證的核心。從「說出的道」(創造)、到「寫出的道」(聖經)、再到「成肉身的道」(基督)，神的啟示一步步臨到我們當中。
今天，人仍在尋找真理與方向，但約翰提醒我們：終極的答案就是主耶穌基督。既然我們也是按神形像被造，所說的話同樣帶著影響力，我們更當用生命回應這道。從起初到末了，都是神的道；問題是，我們是否願意認識祂、跟隨祂，並以祂的話為生命基本。
反思：我是否把「道」當作一套理念去理解，卻沒有真正去認識這位成了肉身的主？在我的生活中，我是否願意讓祂的話成為帶來改變的力量，而不只是停留在閱讀與思想之中？
禱告：主耶穌，祢是太初的道，是萬有的創造主。感謝祢不只是讓我知道真理，更親自成為我可以認識的主。求祢幫助我不只停留在知識與理解，而是讓祢的話進入我的生命，改變我的思想與行動，讓我每天都活在祢的道中，並以生命回應祢的呼召。以上禱告，奉主耶穌的名求，阿們。
