《現實中跟隨》
37 第二天，他們下了山，就有許多人迎見耶穌。 38 其中有一人喊叫說：「夫子！求祢看顧我的兒子，因為他是我的獨生子。 39 他被鬼抓住就忽然喊叫；鬼又叫他抽瘋，口中流沫，並且重重地傷害他，難以離開他。 40 我求過你的門徒，把鬼趕出去，他們卻是不能。」 41 耶穌說：「噯！這又不信又悖謬的世代啊，我在你們這裏，忍耐你們要到幾時呢？將你的兒子帶到這裏來吧！」 42 正來的時候，鬼把他摔倒，叫他重重地抽瘋。耶穌就斥責那污鬼，把孩子治好了，交給他父親。 43 眾人都詫異神的大能 。耶穌所做的一切事，眾人正希奇的時候，耶穌對門徒說： 44「你們要把這些話存在耳中，因為人子將要被交在人手裏。」 45 他們不明白這話，意思乃是隱藏的，叫他們不能明白，他們也不敢問這話的意思。
46 門徒中間起了議論，誰將為大。 47 耶穌看出他們心中的議論，就領一個小孩子來，叫他站在自己旁邊， 48 對他們說：「凡為我名接待這小孩子的，就是接待我；凡接待我的，就是接待那差我來的。你們中間最小的，他便為大。」
49 約翰說：「夫子，我們看見一個人奉你的名趕鬼，我們就禁止他，因為他不與我們一同跟從祢。」 50 耶穌說：「不要禁止他；因為不敵擋你們的，就是幫助你們的。」51 耶穌被接上升的日子將到，祂就定意向耶路撒冷去， 52 便打發使者在祂前頭走。他們到了撒馬利亞的一個村莊，要為祂預備。 53 那裏的人不接待祂，因祂面向耶路撒冷去。 54 祂的門徒雅各、約翰看見了，就說：「主啊，你要我們吩咐火從天上降下來燒滅他們，像以利亞所做的嗎？」 55 耶穌轉身責備兩個門徒，說：「你們的心如何，你們並不知道。 56 人子來不是要滅人的性命，是要救人的性命。」說著就往別的村莊去了。
57 他們走路的時候，有一人對耶穌說：「祢無論往哪裏去，我要跟從祢。」58 耶穌說：「狐狸有洞，天空的飛鳥有窩，只是人子沒有枕頭的地方。」 59 又對一個人說：「跟從我來！」那人說：「主，容我先回去埋葬我的父親。」 60 耶穌說：「任憑死人埋葬他們的死人，你只管去傳揚神國的道。」 61 又有一人說：「主，我要跟從祢，但容我先去辭別我家裏的人。」 62 耶穌說：「手扶著犂向後看的，不配進神的國。」(路加福音九37-62)
37 The next day, when they came down from the mountain, a large crowd met him. 38 A man in the crowd called out, “Teacher, I beg you to look at my son, for he is my only child. 39 A spirit seizes him and he suddenly screams; it throws him into convulsions so that he foams at the mouth. It scarcely ever leaves him and is destroying him. 40 I begged your disciples to drive it out, but they could not.” 41 “You unbelieving and perverse generation,” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you and put up with you? Bring your son here.” 42 Even while the boy was coming, the demon threw him to the ground in a convulsion. But Jesus rebuked the impure spirit, healed the boy and gave him back to his father. 43 And they were all amazed at the greatness of God. While everyone was marveling at all that Jesus did, He said to His disciples, 44 “Listen carefully to what I am about to tell you: The Son of Man is going to be delivered into the hands of men.” 45 But they did not understand what this meant. It was hidden from them, so that they did not grasp it, and they were afraid to ask Him about it. 46 An argument started among the disciples as to which of them would be the greatest. 47 Jesus, knowing their thoughts, took a little child and had Him stand beside Him. 48 Then he said to them, “Whoever welcomes this little child in My name welcomes Me; and whoever welcomes Me welcomes the one who sent me. For it is the one who is least among you all who is the greatest.” 49 “Master,” said John, “we saw someone driving out demons in your name and we tried to stop him, because he is not one of us.” 50 “Do not stop him,” Jesus said, “for whoever is not against you is for you.” 51 As the time approached for Him to be taken up to heaven, Jesus resolutely set out for Jerusalem. 52 And He sent messengers on ahead, who went into a Samaritan village to get things ready for him; 53 but the people there did not welcome Him, because He was heading for Jerusalem. 54 When the disciples James and John saw this, they asked, “Lord, do you want us to call fire down from heaven to destroy them?” 55 But Jesus turned and rebuked them. 56 Then He and His disciples went to another village. 57 As they were walking along the road, a man said to him, “I will follow you wherever you go.” 58 Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay His head.” 59 He said to another man, “Follow me.” But he replied, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.” 60 Jesus said to him, “Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God.” 61 Still another said, “I will follow you, Lord; but first let me go back and say goodbye to my family.” 62 Jesus replied, “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.” (Luke 9:37-62)
分享【在現實中忠心，付上代價】
經過了前一天在山上的榮耀場境，經文卻說「第二天，他們下了山。」(九37) 與山上的不同，山下是充滿混亂與衝突的現實世界，甚至讓耶穌感嘆：「這又不信又悖謬的世代啊！」(九41) 但正是在這樣的現實中，主的工作展開。
山下的現實，是信心不足：門徒趕不出鬼，因為不明白神；對主受苦的預言不敢問；彼此比較，爭論誰為大；劃分界線，排斥不屬於自己圈子的人；而且情緒衝動，想用火滅絕拒絕他們的人。這些都顯出，門徒雖曾經歷榮耀，卻仍未在生命中活出跟隨。
因此，耶穌在此進一步指出：跟隨祂，必須面對現實中的取捨與代價。經歷高峰並不困難，但真正的跟隨，是在山下的世界中，走十字架的路。跟隨主，不是在理想中追求完美，而是在現實中選擇忠心，願意付上代價。
【釋經亮點】
談到跟隨主的代價，《路加福音九57-62 》記錄了三段對話，皆是人表達要跟隨主，但都一一被耶穌迫使他們從現實的境況中思想跟隨的意義。這些對話，屬於「創建」語言 *，而不是規條式的語言。正如上一章提到曾被鬼附的格拉森人 (參八26-39) 也沒有被要求要撇下所有跟隨主，主只讓其回家傳說神的大能。總括來說，這些對話能激發和挑戰人反省內心的價值次序和取捨，從而認清神的國度在其生命中的優先性。
三段對話各有重點：第一段提醒人不要將跟隨理想化，忽略現實的代價；第二段透過強烈的語氣，指出跟隨主的優先次序；第三段則以「手扶著犁向後看」揭示內心不專一的問題。耶穌的回應看似嚴厲，實際上是要人在真實處境中，更深刻地檢視自己是否願意全然跟隨。
如此說來，跟隨主，就是不講求在理想中完美，而是在現實中忠心，付上代價。
*「創建語言」即是「詩性語言」(poetic language)，其意義不是用來制定規條，更多是喚醒人心、衝擊思想、揭露真相的語言。
反思：在我的生活裡，有沒有一些「比主更優先」的事情？
禱告：甘願降下凡塵的主，感謝祢一方面呼召我跟隨祢，一方面又讓我反思跟隨要付上的代價。求祢給我一顆忠心的心，使我在不明白時仍然信靠，在困難中仍然順服，在掙扎中仍然選擇祢。幫助我放下那些攔阻我跟隨祢的事，專一地走祢的道路。願我的生命，不只是曾經經歷祢的榮耀，更是在現實中活出十字架的跟隨。奉主名求，阿們。
