《認清誰為大》
14 耶穌到了門徒那裏，看見有許多人圍着他們，又有文士和他們辯論。 15 眾人一見耶穌，都甚希奇，就跑上去問祂的安。 16 耶穌問他們說：「你們和他們辯論的是甚麼？」 17 眾人中間有一個人回答說：「夫子，我帶了我的兒子到祢這裏來，他被啞巴鬼附着。 18 無論在哪裏，鬼捉弄他，把他摔倒，他就口中流沫，咬牙切齒，身體枯乾。我請過祢的門徒把鬼趕出去，他們卻是不能。」 19 耶穌說：「噯！不信的世代啊，我在你們這裏要到幾時呢？我忍耐你們要到幾時呢？把他帶到我這裏來吧。」 20 他們就帶了他來。他一見耶穌，鬼便叫他重重地抽瘋，倒在地上，翻來覆去，口中流沫。 21 耶穌問他父親說：「他得這病有多少日子呢？」回答說：「從小的時候。 22 鬼屢次把他扔在火裏、水裏，要滅他。祢若能做甚麼，求祢憐憫我們，幫助我們。」 23 耶穌對他說：「你若能信，在信的人，凡事都能。」 24 孩子的父親立時喊着說：「我信！但我信不足，求主幫助。」 25 耶穌看見眾人都跑上來， 就斥責那污鬼，說：「你這聾啞的鬼，我吩咐你從他裏頭出來，再不要進去！」 26 那鬼喊叫，使孩子大大地抽了一陣瘋，就出來了。孩子好像死了一般，以致眾人多半說：「他是死了。」 27 但耶穌拉着他的手，扶他起來，他就站起來了。 28 耶穌進了屋子，門徒就暗暗地問他說：「我們為甚麼不能趕出他去呢？」 29 耶穌說：「非用禱告，這一類的鬼總不能出來。」
30 他們離開那地方，經過加利利；耶穌不願意人知道。 31 於是教訓門徒，說：「人子將要被交在人手裏，他們要殺害祂；被殺以後，過三天祂要復活。」 32 門徒卻不明白這話，又不敢問祂。33 他們來到迦百農。耶穌在屋裏問門徒說：「你們在路上議論的是甚麼？」 34 門徒不作聲，因為他們在路上彼此爭論誰為大。 35 耶穌坐下，叫十二個門徒來，說：「若有人願意作首先的，他必作眾人末後的，作眾人的用人。」 36 於是領過一個小孩子來，叫他站在門徒中間，又抱起他來，對他們說： 37 「凡為我名接待一個像這小孩子的，就是接待我；凡接待我的，不是接待我，乃是接待那差我來的。」 (馬可福音九14-37)
14 When they came to the other disciples, they saw a large crowd around them and the teachers of the law arguing with them. 15 As soon as all the people saw Jesus, they were overwhelmed with wonder and ran to greet Him. 16 “What are you arguing with them about?” He asked. 17 A man in the crowd answered, “Teacher, I brought You my son, who is possessed by a spirit that has robbed him of speech. 18 Whenever it seizes him, it throws him to the ground. He foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth and becomes rigid. I asked Your disciples to drive out the spirit, but they could not.” 19 “You unbelieving generation,” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy to me.” 20 So they brought him. When the spirit saw Jesus, it immediately threw the boy into a convulsion. He fell to the ground and rolled around, foaming at the mouth. 21 Jesus asked the boy’s father, “How long has he been like this?” “From childhood,” he answered. 22 “It has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him. But if You can do anything, take pity on us and help us.” 23 “ ‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.” 24 Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!” 25 When Jesus saw that a crowd was running to the scene, he rebuked the impure spirit. “You deaf and mute spirit,” He said, “I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.” 26 The spirit shrieked, convulsed him violently and came out. The boy looked so much like a corpse that many said, “He’s dead.” 27 But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him to his feet, and he stood up. 28 After Jesus had gone indoors, His disciples asked Him privately, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?” 29 He replied, “This kind can come out only by prayer.”
30 They left that place and passed through Galilee. Jesus did not want anyone to know where they were, 31 because He was teaching His disciples. He said to them, “The Son of Man is going to be delivered into the hands of men. They will kill Him, and after three days He will rise.” 32 But they did not understand what He meant and were afraid to ask Him about it. 33 They came to Capernaum. When He was in the house, He asked them, “What were you arguing about on the road?” 34 But they kept quiet because on the way they had argued about who was the greatest. 35 Sitting down, Jesus called the Twelve and said, “Anyone who wants to be first must be the very last, and the servant of all.”
36 He took a little child whom he placed among them. Taking the child in His arms, He said to them, 37 “Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me.” (Mark 9:14-37)

登山變像之後，門徒正面對一個失敗的場面 —— 他們無法趕出附在孩子身上的鬼。父親帶著掙扎與無奈來到耶穌面前，說：「我信，但我信不足，求主幫助。」耶穌醫治了孩子，也提醒門徒：屬靈爭戰需要依靠與禱告。然而，門徒剛經歷這一幕，路上卻開始爭論誰為最大。耶穌再次預告自己將受害、被殺，門徒卻沒有真正明白，反而被地位與比較佔據心思。耶穌於是把一個小孩子帶到他們中間，指出在神國裡，真正的偉大不是地位，而是願意接納與服事最微小的人。
馬可把這些場景連在一起，讓我們看見門徒信心與心態的掙扎：他們渴望能力，卻忽略依靠；他們追求位置，卻忽略服事。在神國裡，真正的成長不只在能力上，更在心態的轉變上。
【釋經亮點】
當門徒在路上爭論「誰為最大」時，其實反映了當時猶太社會對「為大」的理解。在第一世紀的猶太文化中，「大」常與地位、尊榮與權威有關。例如拉比的學生會按身份安排座位，宗教領袖也重視被尊稱與被看見的地位。因此，門徒可能以為彌賽亞國度即將建立，自然開始思考將來誰最重要、誰最有位置。這與今天人對高位的理解其實十分相似。人容易把「大」與權力、影響力或名聲連結起來。
然而耶穌的回應完全顛覆這種觀念。祂說：「若有人願意作首先的，他必作眾人末後的，作眾人的用人。」在神國裡，「為大」不是地位的提升，而是願意降卑服事。耶穌自己正是最清楚的見證——祂是主，卻選擇服事人，甚至走向十字架。正如祂後來所說：「人子來，不是要受人的服事，乃是要服事人。」
真正的偉大，不在於被多少人服事，而在於願意為多少人付出生命。
反思：那位父親那帶著掙扎的信心，給你什麼提醒？你曾否在服事中追求能力，卻忽略依靠神？
禱告：主耶穌，我信，但我信不足，求祢幫助。當我軟弱、懷疑或困惑時，求祢堅固我的信心。教我不追求人的位置，而學習在祢面前謙卑服事。願我的生命，在依靠祢與接納他人的過程中，越來越像祢。以上禱告，奉主耶穌的名求，阿們。
