《真心的尊敬》

1 有法利賽人和幾個文士從耶路撒冷來,到耶穌那裏聚集。 2 他們曾看見祂的門徒中有人用俗手,就是沒有洗的手,吃飯。( 3 原來法利賽人和猶太人都拘守古人的遺傳,若不仔細洗手就不吃飯; 從市上來,若不洗浴也不吃飯;還有好些別的規矩,他們歷代拘守,就是洗杯、罐、銅器等物。) 法利賽人和文士問祂說:「祢的門徒為甚麼不照古人的遺傳,用俗手吃飯呢?」 6 耶穌說:「以賽亞指着你們假冒為善之人所說的預言是不錯的。如經上說:這百姓用嘴唇尊敬我,心卻遠離我。他們將人的吩咐當作道理教導人,所以拜我也是枉然。 你們是離棄神的誡命,拘守人的遺傳」; 又說:「你們誠然是廢棄神的誡命,要守自己的遺傳。 10 摩西說:『當孝敬父母』;又說:『咒罵父母的,必治死他。』 11 你們倒說:『人若對父母說:我所當奉給你的,已經作了各耳板』 (各耳板就是供獻的意思), 12 以後你們就不容他再奉養父母。 13 這就是你們承接遺傳,廢了神的道。你們還做許多這樣的事。」

14 耶穌又叫眾人來,對他們說:「你們都要聽我的話,也要明白。 15 從外面進去的不能污穢人,惟有從裏面出來的乃能污穢人。」 17 耶穌離開眾人,進了屋子,門徒就問祂這比喻的意思。 18 耶穌對他們說:「你們也是這樣不明白嗎?豈不曉得凡從外面進入的,不能污穢人, 19 因為不是入他的心,乃是入他的肚腹,又落到茅廁裏( 這是說,各樣的食物都是潔淨的)」; 20 又說:「從人裏面出來的,那才能污穢人; 21 因為從裏面,就是從人心裏,發出惡念、苟合、 22 偷盜、凶殺、姦淫、貪婪、邪惡、詭詐、淫蕩、嫉妒、謗讟、驕傲、狂妄。 23 這一切的惡都是從裏面出來,且能污穢人。」(馬可福音七1-23)

1 The Pharisees and some of the teachers of the law who had come from Jerusalem gathered around Jesus 2 and saw some of His disciples eating food with hands that were defiled, that is, unwashed. 3 (The Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat unless they give their hands a ceremonial washing, holding to the tradition of the elders. 4 When they come from the marketplace they do not eat unless they wash. And they observe many other traditions, such as the washing of cups, pitchers and kettles.) 5 So the Pharisees and teachers of the law asked Jesus, “Why don’t Your disciples live according to the tradition of the elders instead of eating their food with defiled hands?” 6 He replied, “Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written: “ ‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. 7 They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.’ 8 You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to human traditions.” 9 And He continued, “You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe your own traditions! 10 For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and mother,’ and, ‘Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death.’ 11 But you say that if anyone declares that what might have been used to help their father or mother is Corban (that is, devoted to God)— 12 then you no longer let them do anything for their father or mother. 13 Thus you nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many things like that.” 14 Again Jesus called the crowd to him and said, “Listen to me, everyone, and understand this. 15 Nothing outside a person can defile them by going into them. Rather, it is what comes out of a person that defiles them.” 17 After He had left the crowd and entered the house, His disciples asked Him about this parable. 18 “Are you so dull?” He asked. “Don’t you see that nothing that enters a person from the outside can defile them? 19 For it doesn’t go into their heart but into their stomach, and then out of the body.” (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods clean.) 20 He went on: “What comes out of a person is what defiles them. 21 For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come—sexual immorality, theft, murder, 22 adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. 23 All these evils come from inside and defile a person.” (Mark 7:1-23)

法利賽人質疑門徒為何不按傳統洗手吃飯。對他們而言,這不只是衛生問題,而是敬虔的象徵。然而,耶穌指出問題不在手是否潔淨,而在心是否真誠。祂引用以賽亞的話:「這百姓用嘴唇尊敬我,心卻遠離我。」外在行為若失去內在的敬畏,就成為空洞的形式。

耶穌更進一步指出,人真正的污穢不是從外面進入,而是從心裡發出。惡念、嫉妒、驕傲、詭詐,都是內心的產物。這番教導對當時的宗教觀念是一種震撼,因為它把焦點從禮儀轉向生命本質。

耶穌不是否定律法,而是揭示律法的核心 —— 敬虔不是表面的規條,而是心靈對神的尊重與順服。真正的尊敬,不在於遵守多少傳統,而在於心是否與神靠近。若心遠離,形式再完整,也無法取代真實的敬畏。

釋經亮點】
經文中提到的「各耳板」,其希伯來語的意思是「獻給神的禮物」。在當時的猶太傳統中,人可以宣告某筆財物為「各耳板」,表示這些資源歸神所有,不能再作其他用途。耶穌提到「各耳板」,指出問題不在奉獻本身,而在於有人利用這個宗教制度,逃避對父母應盡的責任。按照律法,孝敬父母是清楚的誡命,但若一個人把本應用來奉養父母的財物宣稱為「各耳板」,就可以名正言順地拒絕支持家人。

耶穌指出,這種做法是以宗教名義廢掉神的誡命。表面看似敬虔,實際卻違背愛與責任的核心。這揭露了一個危險:當宗教制度被用來合理化自私,敬虔便變成遮掩心硬的工具。真正的尊敬神,不會犧牲愛人的誡命;相反,真敬虔必然活在實際的責任與關係之中。

反思:你是否在某些屬靈習慣中,停留於外在形式而缺乏內裡真心?今天,什麼是你的「各耳板」?你的奉獻是否出於愛神、愛人?

禱告:主耶穌,求祢潔淨我的心,使我不只用言語敬拜祢,更在生命中尊敬祢。若我有形式多於真誠的時候,求祢提醒我回到祢面前。更新我內心的動機,讓我的敬虔不是表面,而是真實與祢同行。以上禱告,奉主耶穌的名求,阿們。
