《真正的潔淨》
1 那時，有法利賽人和文士從耶路撒冷來見耶穌，說： 2 「祢的門徒為甚麼犯古人的遺傳呢？因為吃飯的時候，他們不洗手。」 3 耶穌回答說：「你們為甚麼因着你們的遺傳犯神的誡命呢？ 4 神說：『當孝敬父母』；又說：『咒罵父母的，必治死他。』 5 你們倒說：『無論何人對父母說：我所當奉給你的已經作了供獻， 6 他就可以不孝敬父母。』這就是你們藉着遺傳，廢了神的誡命。 7 假冒為善的人哪，以賽亞指着你們說的預言是不錯的。他說： 8 這百姓用嘴唇尊敬我，心卻遠離我；9 他們將人的吩咐當作道理教導人，所以拜我也是枉然。」 10 耶穌就叫了眾人來，對他們說：「你們要聽，也要明白。 11 入口的不能污穢人，出口的乃能污穢人。」 12 當時，門徒進前來對祂說：「法利賽人聽見這話，不服，祢知道嗎？」 13 耶穌回答說：「凡栽種的物，若不是我天父栽種的，必要拔出來。 14 任憑他們吧！他們是瞎眼領路的；若是瞎子領瞎子，兩個人都要掉在坑裏。」 15 彼得對耶穌說：「請將這比喻講給我們聽。」 16 耶穌說：「你們到如今還不明白嗎？ 17 豈不知凡入口的，是運到肚子裏，又落在茅廁裏嗎？ 18 惟獨出口的，是從心裏發出來的，這才污穢人。 19 因為從心裏發出來的，有惡念、凶殺、姦淫、苟合、偷盜、妄證、謗讟。 20 這都是污穢人的；至於不洗手吃飯，那卻不污穢人。」 (馬太福音十五1-20)
1 Then some Pharisees and teachers of the law came to Jesus from Jerusalem and asked, 2 “Why do Your disciples break the tradition of the elders? They don’t wash their hands before they eat!” 3 Jesus replied, “And why do you break the command of God for the sake of your tradition? 4 For God said, ‘Honor your father and mother’ and ‘Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death.’ 5 But you say that if anyone declares that what might have been used to help their father or mother is ‘devoted to God,’ 6 they are not to ‘honor their father or mother’ with it. Thus you nullify the word of God for the sake of your tradition. 7 You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you: 8 “ ‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. 9 They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.’ ” 10 Jesus called the crowd to him and said, “Listen and understand. 11 What goes into someone’s mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them.” 12 Then the disciples came to Him and asked, “Do You know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this?” 13 He replied, “Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by the roots. 14 Leave them; they are blind guides. If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.” 15 Peter said, “Explain the parable to us.” 16 “Are you still so dull?” Jesus asked them. 17 “Don’t you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body? 18 But the things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart, and these defile them. 19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. 20 These are what defile a person; but eating with unwashed hands does not defile them.” (Matthew 15:1-20)
分享【不是外面的污穢，而是裡面的光景】
在這段經文中，法利賽人質問耶穌的門徒為何不守「洗手的傳統」。表面看來，他們關心的是敬虔與潔淨；實際上，耶穌卻看見一個更深的問題 —— 人是否用宗教傳統取代了對神的真實順服。耶穌並非否定傳統本身，而是指出，當傳統高過神的誡命時，敬虔就會變質。
耶穌進一步指出，真正使人污穢的，不是從外面進入的食物，而是從心裡出來的言語與行為。人的口所說的、手所做的，反映的是內心的狀態。換句話說，潔淨不是靠外在儀式維持，而是從被更新的心自然流露。
這番教導對當時的人而言極具衝擊，因為它顛覆了長久以來以規條界定聖潔的方式。耶穌把人從「做對什麼」帶回「成為怎樣的人」。神所看重的，不是表面的合格，而是內裡的真實。對門徒而言，這也是一堂學習分辨的功課。真正的潔淨，不能靠遮掩或修飾，而是讓神的光照進心裡，使生命被更新。
【釋經亮點】
洗手，或許讓我們想起Covid-19期間的衛生要求。在耶穌時代，「洗手」並非衛生習慣，而是宗教潔淨的傳統規條。這些規定源自拉比對律法的延伸解釋，原本是祭司在聖所服事前的要求，後來被擴展到日常生活，成為「敬虔」的標記。法利賽人如此重視洗手，並不是因為食物本身，而是因為藉此劃清「聖與俗」、「潔與不潔」的界線，以確保不在不知不覺中觸犯律法。
他們的心態，一方面是出於對被擄歷史的恐懼 —— 深信唯有嚴守規條，才能避免再次遭受神的審判；另一方面，也逐漸把「守得更嚴」等同於「更屬靈」。於是，規條從保護信仰的圍牆，變成衡量敬虔的標準。耶穌所指出的問題不在洗手本身，而在於當外在規條取代內心順服時，人就可能守住形式，卻失去神真正看重的心。
反思：你是否曾以外在表現，取代內心對神的真實回應？在你的生命中，有哪些「屬靈習慣」可能正在掩蓋心的問題？你是否願意讓神的話光照內心，而不只是修正行為？
禱告：潔淨人心的主，求祢光照我的內心，讓我不只追求外在的合宜，更渴望裡面的更新。若我用習慣取代順服，用形式取代關係，求祢憐憫並帶我回轉。願祢潔淨我，使我的生命真實地反映祢的聖潔。以上禱告，奉主耶穌的名求，阿們。
