《跟隨的代價》
18 耶穌見許多人圍着祂，就吩咐渡到那邊去。 19 有一個文士來，對祂說：「夫子，祢無論往哪裏去，我要跟從祢。」 20 耶穌說：「狐狸有洞，天空的飛鳥有窩，人子卻沒有枕頭的地方。」 21 又有一個門徒對耶穌說：「主啊，容我先回去埋葬我的父親。」 22 耶穌說：「任憑死人埋葬他們的死人；你跟從我吧！」
23 耶穌上了船，門徒跟着祂。 24 海裏忽然起了暴風，甚至船被波浪掩蓋；耶穌卻睡着了。 25 門徒來叫醒了祂，說：「主啊，救我們，我們喪命啦！」 26 耶穌說：「你們這小信的人哪，為甚麼膽怯呢？」於是起來，斥責風和海，風和海就大大地平靜了。 27 眾人希奇，說：「這是怎樣的人？連風和海也聽從祂了！」
28 耶穌既渡到那邊去，來到加大拉人的地方，就有兩個被鬼附的人從墳塋裏出來迎着祂，極其凶猛，甚至沒有人能從那條路上經過。 29 他們喊着說：「神的兒子，我們與祢有甚麼相干？時候還沒有到，祢就上這裏來叫我們受苦嗎？」 30 離他們很遠，有一大羣豬吃食。 31 鬼就央求耶穌，說：「若把我們趕出去，就打發我們進入豬羣吧！」 32 耶穌說：「去吧！」鬼就出來，進入豬羣。全羣忽然闖下山崖，投在海裏淹死了。 33 放豬的就逃跑進城，將這一切事和被鬼附的人所遭遇的都告訴人。 34 合城的人都出來迎見耶穌，既見了就央求祂離開他們的境界。(馬太福音八18-34)
18 When Jesus saw the crowd around Him, He gave orders to cross to the other side of the lake. 19 Then a teacher of the law came to Him and said, “Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go.” 20 Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.” 21 Another disciple said to him, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.” 22 But Jesus told him, “Follow me, and let the dead bury their own dead.”
23 Then He got into the boat and His disciples followed Him. 24 Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. 25 The disciples went and woke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!” 26 He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm. 27 The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey Him!”
28 When He arrived at the other side in the region of the Gadarenes, two demon-possessed men coming from the tombs met him. They were so violent that no one could pass that way. 29 “What do You want with us, Son of God?” they shouted. “Have You come here to torture us before the appointed time?” 30 Some distance from them a large herd of pigs was feeding. 31The demons begged Jesus, “If you drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs.” 32 He said to them, “Go!” So they came out and went into the pigs, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and died in the water. 33 Those tending the pigs ran off, went into the town and reported all this, including what had happened to the demon-possessed men. 34 Then the whole town went out to meet Jesus. And when they saw Him, they pleaded with Him to leave their region. (Matthew 8:18-34)

分享【當耶穌靠近，我們願意付上什麼？】
在《馬太福音八18-34》，耶穌的權柄愈發清楚，但人的回應卻開始出現張力。有人主動表示要跟隨，耶穌卻提醒他：人子沒有枕首之處；有人想跟從，卻希望先處理家中的事。耶穌的回應聽來嚴厲，其實是在揭示一個事實：跟隨祂不是附加選項，而是生命優先次序的轉移。
隨後，耶穌平靜風浪。門徒明明與主同在，仍然因懼怕而驚慌。這顯示跟隨主不等於沒有風浪，而是在風浪中學習信靠那位掌權的主。接着，耶穌趕逐群鬼，顯明祂對自然界與屬靈世界的絕對權柄。然而，令人震驚的是，當地的人不是歡迎祂，反而央求祂離開，因為祂的同在打破了人們原有的秩序與利益。
這段經文把問題清楚地擺在我們面前：我們是否真的想要耶穌，還是只想要祂帶來的好處？跟隨耶穌，意味著讓祂成為主，也意味著必須要放下某些安全感。
【釋經亮點】
對以色列人而言，「鬼進入豬群」本身就帶着強烈的象徵意味。按照摩西律法，豬是不潔之物 (參利未記十一7) ，猶太人既不飼養，也不食用豬。因此，格拉森地區出現大群豬，估計這是一個外邦色彩濃厚、與以色列信仰界線相當疏離的地方。
當耶穌允許污鬼進入豬群，並最終使整群豬衝入海中淹死，對猶太讀者而言，這不是隨機的神蹟畫面，而是一個清楚的屬靈宣告：污穢歸回污穢之地，邪惡沒有在神國中立足的空間。海在猶太想像中常象徵混亂與深淵，豬群的結局，正好表明邪靈被徹底驅逐。
更重要的是，這個行動揭示了一個價值對比：在神眼中，一個被擄的人的恢復，遠比一整群不潔的牲畜更寶貴。然而，當地人卻因經濟損失而請耶穌離開，顯示他們寧可保留不潔所帶來的利益，也不願面對神國臨到所帶來的翻轉。這段經文對以色列人而言，是一個尖銳的提醒：當神潔淨的能力臨到，我們究竟看重的是生命的恢復，還是既有秩序的維持？
反思：你是否曾熱心表示願意跟隨，卻在現實代價前猶豫？你生命中是否有一些「既得利益」正在阻擋你跟隨耶穌？
禱告：呼召人的主，祢呼召我跟隨，卻從不隱瞞代價。求祢光照我心中仍想抓緊的安全感，給我勇氣把生命的主權交給祢。無論在平靜或風浪中，願我學習真正信靠祢，選擇祢勝過一切。以上禱告，奉主耶穌的名求，阿們。
