《耶穌的醫治》
1 耶穌下了山，有許多人跟着祂。 2 有一個長大痲瘋的來拜祂，說：「主若肯，必能叫我潔淨了。」 3 耶穌伸手摸他，說：「我肯，你潔淨了吧！」他的大痲瘋立刻就潔淨了。 4 耶穌對他說：「你切不可告訴人，只要去把身體給祭司察看，獻上摩西所吩咐的禮物，對眾人作證據。」
5 耶穌進了迦百農，有一個百夫長進前來，求祂說： 6 「主啊，我的僕人害癱瘓病，躺在家裏，甚是疼苦。」 7 耶穌說：「我去醫治他。」 8 百夫長回答說：「主啊，祢到我舍下，我不敢當；只要祢說一句話，我的僕人就必好了。 9 因為我在人的權下，也有兵在我以下；對這個說『去！』他就去；對那個說『來！』他就來；對我的僕人說『你做這事！』他就去做。」 10 耶穌聽見就希奇，對跟從的人說：「我實在告訴你們，這麼大的信心，就是在以色列中，我也沒有遇見過。 11 我又告訴你們，從東從西，將有許多人來，在天國裏與亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各一同坐席； 12 惟有本國的子民竟被趕到外邊黑暗裏去，在那裏必要哀哭切齒了。」 13耶穌對百夫長說：「你回去吧！照你的信心，給你成全了。」那時，他的僕人就好了。
14 耶穌到了彼得家裏，見彼得的岳母害熱病躺着。 15 耶穌把她的手一摸，熱就退了；她就起來服事耶穌。 16 到了晚上，有人帶着許多被鬼附的來到耶穌跟前，祂只用一句話就把鬼都趕出去，並且治好了一切有病的人。 17 這是要應驗先知以賽亞的話，說：祂代替我們的軟弱，擔當我們的疾病。(馬太福音八1-17)
1 When Jesus came down from the mountainside, large crowds followed Him. 2 A man with leprosy came and knelt before Him and said, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” 3 Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” He said. “Be clean!” Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy. 4 Then Jesus said to him, “See that you don’t tell anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”
5 When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, asking for help. 6 “Lord,” he said, “my servant lies at home paralyzed, suffering terribly.” 7 Jesus said to him, “Shall I come and heal him?” 8 The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have You come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. 9 For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and that one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.” 10 When Jesus heard this, He was amazed and said to those following Him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith. 11 I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. 12 But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” 13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would.” And his servant was healed at that moment.
14 When Jesus came into Peter’s house, He saw Peter’s mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever. 15 He touched her hand and the fever left her, and she got up and began to wait on Him. 16 When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to Him, and He drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick. 17 This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took up our infirmities and bore our diseases.” (Matthew 8:1-17 )

登山寶訓結束後，耶穌沒有停留在言語與教導上，而是立刻走進人的痛苦之中。祂下山後，先後醫治痲瘋病人、外邦百夫長的僕人，以及彼得的岳母。這三個醫治對象背景各異，卻共同見證一件事：耶穌是權柄與憐憫兼備的主。
痲瘋病人被社會隔離、被視為不潔；百夫長是外邦軍官，不在以色列的宗教圈子內；彼得的岳母則是在家中默默受病痛折磨的人。耶穌卻一一回應他們的需要，跨越潔淨界線、民族界線與空間距離，顯明神國的恩典不是分層次、分資格的。
特別值得留意的是，百夫長對耶穌權柄的理解：「只要祢說一句話，我的僕人就必好了。」(參v.8) 這種信心不依賴眼見，而是完全信靠耶穌的話。馬太藉此讓讀者看見：真正的信心，是把生命交託在主的權柄之下。
【釋經亮點】
大家有否留意到，彼得的岳母得醫治，與痲瘋病人和百夫長僕人的醫治「很不一樣」？首兩件醫治事件都帶着強烈的張力與象徵：痲瘋病人涉及潔淨與隔離的界線，百夫長的僕人則涉及外邦人與權柄、信心的對比，焦點鮮明，也容易被眾人看見。但彼得岳母的醫治，卻發生在隱蔽的家中、沒有請求、沒有宣告信心的情況下。
這段看似平凡的記載，或許正好補足前兩個「張力十足」的神蹟：它提醒我們，耶穌不只是站在公眾舞台上彰顯權柄的主，也是走進家庭、關顧日常、留意沉默者需要的救主。神的恩典，既臨到被看見的邊緣人，也臨到容易被忽略的家中病者。
反思：百夫長的信心提醒你，在哪些事情上需要單單信靠主的話？你是否相信耶穌同樣關心你生活中「看似微小」的痛苦？
禱告：權柄與憐憫兼備的主，感謝祢用權柄醫治，用憐憫靠近。求祢幫助我在軟弱中信靠祢的話，在等待中相信祢的心意。願我把生命的破碎帶到祢面前，深信祢仍然掌權、仍然憐憫。以上禱告，奉主耶穌的名求，阿們。
