《耶穌的童年》
1 當希律王的時候，耶穌生在猶太的伯利恆。有幾個博士從東方來到耶路撒冷，說： 2 「那生下來作猶太人之王的在哪裏？我們在東方看見祂的星，特來拜祂。」 3 希律王聽見了，就心裏不安；耶路撒冷合城的人也都不安。 4 他就召齊了祭司長和民間的文士，問他們說：「基督當生在何處？」 5 他們回答說：「在猶太的伯利恆。因為有先知記着，說：6 猶大地的伯利恆啊，你在猶大諸城中並不是最小的；因為將來有一位君王要從你那裏出來，牧養我以色列民。」7 當下，希律暗暗地召了博士來，細問那星是甚麼時候出現的， 8 就差他們往伯利恆去，說：「你們去仔細尋訪那小孩子，尋到了就來報信，我也好去拜祂。」 9 他們聽見王的話就去了。在東方所看見的那星忽然在他們前頭行，直行到小孩子的地方，就在上頭停住了。 10 他們看見那星，就大大地歡喜； 11 進了房子，看見小孩子和祂母親馬利亞，就俯伏拜那小孩子，揭開寶盒，拿黃金、乳香、沒藥為禮物獻給祂。 12 博士因為在夢中被主指示不要回去見希律，就從別的路回本地去了。
13 他們去後，有主的使者向約瑟夢中顯現，說：「起來！帶着小孩子同祂母親逃往埃及，住在那裏，等我吩咐你；因為希律必尋找小孩子，要除滅祂。」 14 約瑟就起來，夜間帶着小孩子和祂母親往埃及去， 15 住在那裏，直到希律死了。這是要應驗主藉先知所說的話，說：「我從埃及召出我的兒子來。」
16 希律見自己被博士愚弄，就大大發怒，差人將伯利恆城裏並四境所有的男孩，照着他向博士仔細查問的時候，凡兩歲以裏的，都殺盡了。 17 這就應了先知耶利米的話，說：18 在拉瑪聽見號咷大哭的聲音，是拉結哭她兒女，不肯受安慰，因為他們都不在了。
19 希律死了以後，有主的使者在埃及向約瑟夢中顯現，說： 20 「起來！帶着小孩子和他母親往以色列地去，因為要害小孩子性命的人已經死了。」 21 約瑟就起來，把小孩子和祂母親帶到以色列地去； 22 只因聽見亞基老接着他父親希律作了猶太王，就怕往那裏去，又在夢中被主指示，便往加利利境內去了， 23 到了一座城，名叫拿撒勒，就住在那裏。這是要應驗先知所說，祂將稱為拿撒勒人的話了。(馬太福音二1-23)
1 After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem 2 and asked, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw His star when it rose and have come to worship Him.” 3 When King Herod heard this he was disturbed, and all Jerusalem with him. 4 When he had called together all the people’s chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Messiah was to be born. 5 “In Bethlehem in Judea,” they replied, “for this is what the prophet has written: 6 “ ‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.’” 7 Then Herod called the Magi secretly and found out from them the exact time the star had appeared. 8 He sent them to Bethlehem and said, “Go and search carefully for the child. As soon as you find Him, report to me, so that I too may go and worship Him.” 9 After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen when it rose went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was. 10 When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. 11 On coming to the house, they saw the child with His mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped Him. Then they opened their treasures and presented Him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. 12 And having been warned in a dream not to go back to Herod, they returned to their country by another route.
13 When they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. “Get up,” he said, “take the child and His mother and escape to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the child to kill Him.” 14 So he got up, took the child and His mother during the night and left for Egypt, 15 where he stayed until the death of Herod. And so was fulfilled what the Lord had said through the prophet: “Out of Egypt I called my son.”
16 When Herod realized that he had been outwitted by the Magi, he was furious, and he gave orders to kill all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity who were two years old and under, in accordance with the time he had learned from the Magi. 17 Then what was said through the prophet Jeremiah was fulfilled: 18 “A voice is heard in Ramah, weeping and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children and refusing to be comforted, because they are no more.”
19 After Herod died, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt 20 and said, “Get up, take the child and His mother and go to the land of Israel, for those who were trying to take the child’s life are dead.” 21 So he got up, took the child and His mother and went to the land of Israel. 22 But when he heard that Archelaus was reigning in Judea in place of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there. Having been warned in a dream, he withdrew to the district of Galilee, 23 and he went and lived in a town called Nazareth. So was fulfilled what was said through the prophets, that He would be called a Nazarene. (Matthew 2:1-23)

分享【神在暗中保守祂的計劃】
《馬太福音》第二章呈現出鮮明的對比 ── 一邊是博士渴慕敬拜主的心，一邊是希律因恐懼而想殺害耶穌的陰謀。博士們長途跋涉，只因追尋那顆被神點亮的星。他們雖未完全明白神的計劃，卻願意尋找那位將要來的王。相反，希律被恐懼驅動，害怕王位被奪，因此心生惡念。敬拜使人走向光明；恐懼則讓人走向黑暗。請留意，聖誕的到來同時象徵著屬靈爭戰的開始 ── 光明與黑暗正式交鋒。
希律下令屠殺伯利恆男嬰，是歷史中極其黑暗的一幕。然而在這黑暗之中，神多次保護耶穌一家，使祂的計劃不致受阻：祂藉夢指示約瑟逃往埃及、又藉夢指示何時回到以色列、最後再一次改變路線，使他們轉往拿撒勒(參v.13、20、22)。神沒有應許我們不會遇見危險，卻應許祂的同在能帶領我們穿越危險。耶穌的童年提醒我們：黑暗無法阻止神的光；人的計謀無法挫敗神的心意。
【釋經亮點】
在全章當中，約瑟三次從夢中領受神的指示 (參v.13、19、22)，他的反應都是：「起來。」這是一種立即的行動 ── 沒有拖延、沒有爭論，只是單純的順服。正是這樣安靜而踏實的順服，使耶穌的生命得以保全，讓神的計劃不被攔阻。也許你覺得自己微不足道，但神往往正是藉著這些「看似平凡」的順服，成就祂「極其非凡」的旨意。
反思：你是否願意像博士一樣，付代價來敬拜耶穌？神曾否在你的生命中藉「微小的提醒」引導你？你是否願意像約瑟一樣順服？
禱告：親愛的主，感謝祢在最混亂的年代降生，帶來真光與盼望。求祢賜我博士的心，願意尋求祢；賜我約瑟的順服，願意行在祢的旨意裡。面對生命的黑暗與恐懼，讓我深知祢仍掌權、仍保守、仍引導。願祢的光照亮今天的每一步。以上禱告，奉主耶穌的名求，阿們。
