13 摩西對上帝說：「我到以色列人那裏，對他們說：『你們祖宗的上帝打發我到你們這裏來。』他們若問我說：『他叫甚麼名字？』我要對他們說甚麼呢？」14 上帝對摩西說：「我是自有永有的」；又說：「你要對以色列人這樣說：『那自有的打發我到你們這裏來。』」15 上帝又對摩西說：「你要對以色列人這樣說：『耶和華－你們祖宗的上帝，就是亞伯拉罕的上帝，以撒的上帝，雅各的上帝，打發我到你們這裏來。』耶和華是我的名，直到永遠；這也是我的紀念，直到萬代。」(出埃及記三13-15)
1 耶和華對摩西說：「現在你必看見我向法老所行的事，使他因我大能的手放以色列人走，因我大能的手把他們趕出他的地。」2 神吩咐摩西，對他說：「我是耶和華。3 我從前向亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各顯現為全能的神；至於我的名耶和華，我未曾讓他們知道。4 我要與他們堅立我的約，要把迦南地，他們寄居的地賜給他們。5 我聽見以色列人被埃及人奴役的哀聲，我就記念我的約。6 所以你要對以色列人說：『我是耶和華；我要除去埃及人加給你們的勞役，救你們脫離他們的奴役。我要用伸出來的膀臂，藉嚴厲的懲罰救贖你們。7 我要以你們為我的百姓，我也要作你們的神。我除去埃及人加給你們的勞役，你們就知道我是耶和華你們的神。8 我起誓應許給亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的地，我要領你們進去，將那地賜給你們為業。我是耶和華。』」(出埃及記六1-8)
13 Moses said to God, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what shall I tell them?” 14 God said to Moses, “I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I am has sent me to you.’” 15 God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘The Lord, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.’ “This is my name forever, the name you shall call me from generation to generation. (Exodus 3:13-15)
1 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Now you will see what I will do to Pharaoh: Because of my mighty hand he will let them go; because of my mighty hand he will drive them out of his country.” 2 God also said to Moses, “I am the Lord. 3 I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob as God Almighty, but by my name the Lord I did not make myself fully known to them. 4 I also established my covenant with them to give them the land of Canaan, where they resided as foreigners. 5 Moreover, I have heard the groaning of the Israelites, whom the Egyptians are enslaving, and I have remembered my covenant. 6 “Therefore, say to the Israelites: ‘I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians. I will free you from being slaves to them, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with mighty acts of judgment. 7 I will take you as my own people, and I will be your God. Then you will know that I am the Lord your God, who brought you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians. 8 And I will bring you to the land I swore with uplifted hand to give to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob. I will give it to you as a possession. I am the Lord.’”(Exodus 6:1-8)

分享：「耶和華」(希伯來文 YHWH，譯音Yahweh) 是神在舊約中向人啟示的名字。猶太人因極度尊敬神的名，不敢直呼，誦讀經文時常以「主」代替。但這名字的神聖，不僅在於人對它的敬畏，更在於它揭示了神的屬性、本質、作為與救恩。
「耶和華」這名字是在《出埃及記》神向摩西揭示的。神不單在呼召摩西時，首次宣告耶和華是祂的名，顯示出祂的「自有永有」(參三14) ；後來，就在摩西見法老後情況惡化，灰心喪志之際，神再次強調祂的名字：「2 我是耶和華。3 我從前向亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各顯現為全能的神；至於我的名耶和華，我未曾讓他們知道。4 我要與他們堅立我的約，要把迦南地，他們寄居的地賜給他們。」(六2-4) 在過去，神顯現為全能的神，但對於摩西，祂以耶和華啟示自己，顯示祂不但是滿有能力高高在上的神，還要親自行動，成就應許。這名字更顯示出神成全立約的屬性，正如神對摩西重申：「我要以你們為我的百姓，我也要作你們的神。」(六7)
這不單是耶和華對百姓的應許，更是對我們的應許，而且我們都知道神後來以耶穌基督施行對我們的拯救，比摩西的時代領受更徹底的恩典；再者，耶穌在升天時還不忘應許我們：「凡我所吩咐你們的，都教訓他們遵守，我就常與你們同在，直到世界的末了。」(馬太福音廿八20)
今天我們都知道「耶和華」的名字，但是否真實的經歷「耶和華」—— 自有永有、信實不變、親自救贖，以及是我們立約的神？而我們又是怎樣期待祂的約定？還是早已被世界的繁瑣事困擾著而忘了神的名字的意思呢？讓我們重拾對祂名字的敬畏和感恩，並時刻經歷著主耶穌帶給我們的應許：「我就常與你們同在，直到世界的末了。」
反思：神不單是全能的神，還是「耶和華」。那我經歷過多少祂的信實、守約？
禱告：自有永有、信實不變的主耶和華，祢是昔在、今在、永在的神。祢所應許的，祢必成就；祢所說的，祢必帶領我經歷。感謝祢在歷史中彰顯祢的信實，也在我生命中不斷施行拯救。當我軟弱疑惑時，求祢提醒我祢就是「耶和華」，祢說過的話必不落空，祢的約永不廢去。願我的生命見證祢的永恆、真實、可信和拯救。奉主名求，阿們。
