《種子傳播的提醒》
4 當許多人聚集、又有人從各城裏出來見耶穌的時候，耶穌就用比喻說：5「有一個撒種的出去撒種。撒的時候，有落在路旁的，被人踐踏，天上的飛鳥又來吃盡了。6 有落在磐石上的，一出來就枯乾了，因為得不著滋潤。7 有落在荊棘裏的，荊棘一同生長，把它擠住了。8 又有落在好土裏的，生長起來，結實百倍。」耶穌說了這些話，就大聲說：「有耳可聽的，就應當聽！」⋯⋯ 11「這比喻乃是這樣：種子就是神的道。12 那些在路旁的，就是人聽了道，隨後魔鬼來，從他們心裏把道奪去，恐怕他們信了得救。13 那些在磐石上的，就是人聽道，歡喜領受，但心中沒有根，不過暫時相信，及至遇見試煉就退後了。14 那落在荊棘裏的，就是人聽了道，走開以後，被今生的思慮、錢財、宴樂擠住了，便結不出成熟的子粒來。15 那落在好土裏的，就是人聽了道，持守在誠實善良的心裏，並且忍耐著結實。」 (路加福音八4-8、11-15)
4 While a large crowd was gathering and people were coming to Jesus from town after town, he told this parable: 5 “A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path; it was trampled on, and the birds ate it up. 6 Some fell on rocky ground, and when it came up, the plants withered because they had no moisture. 7 Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up with it and choked the plants. 8 Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up and yielded a crop, a hundred times more than was sown.” When He said this, He called out, “Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear.”… 11 “This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God. 12Those along the path are the ones who hear, and then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved. 13Those on the rocky ground are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away. 14The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature. 15But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop. (Luke 8:4-8, 11-15)
分享：大家有沒有想過：為什麼種子沒有腳，卻能夠進行有效的傳播？這是因為大自然中有多種傳播方式，幫助種子從母株移動到新的地方。例如：以風力傳播輕巧的種子 (如蒲公英、松樹等) 、以水力傳播能浮在水面上的種子 (如椰子樹、水草等) 、藉動物食用含有種子的果實作傳播 (松樹、芒果樹) 等。還有一種植物叫做 Sand Tree (又稱為爆炸樹) *，它最大特徵是它的果實非常具有爆炸性。當果實成熟時，它會突然開裂，發出巨大的聲響，將種子以高速彈射出去。這種「爆炸」機制幫助種子散播到很遠的地方，有時可以飛射到30米遠。
耶穌在比喻中也曾提到種子 (參路加福音八4-8、11-15)，說明了神的道如何在我們心中生根發芽。
1. 堅硬的心田：有些人像是堅硬的土壤，神的話語無法進入他們的心中，就像是種子掉在路旁，被飛鳥吃掉一樣。這提醒我們，若我們的心被世俗或偏見所充滿，神的話語就難以進入，無法帶來變化。
2. 情感的土壤：有些人像是淺薄的土壤，聽了神的話語後心情激動，但很快就因為困難或試煉而放棄。這提醒我們，信仰的根基需要深厚，只有持久的信靠和耐心，才能經得起試煉。
3. 雜草叢生的土壤：有些人像是長滿雜草的土壤，神的話語進入了心中，但世上的憂慮和財富的誘惑使得神的話語無法結出果實。這提醒我們，若我們的心中充滿了世界的事物，就難以專注於神的國度和祂的義。
4. 良好的土壤：而有些人像是那良好的土壤，聽到神的話語後願意順服，並且將其實踐在生活中，結出三十倍、六十倍、甚至一百倍的果實。這提醒我們，只有當我們的心對神開放，並真誠地接受祂的話語時，才能見到生命的果效。
今天，神的道奇妙地傳播到我們心中，我們又會如何對待心中這寶貴的「種子」呢？

禱告：親愛的天父，感謝祢賜下祢的話語，像種子一樣播撒在我們的生命中。求祢幫助我們檢視自己的心田，清除一切硬心、雜草和淺薄的土壤，使我們的心能成為那良好的土壤，樂意接納祢的真理，並結出豐盛的果實。求祢讓祢的道深植於我們的心，使我們的生命因祢而更新，成為祢榮耀的見證。以上禱告，奉主耶穌得勝的名求，阿們。
