《風暴中見主保守》
35 當那天晚上，耶穌對門徒說：「我們渡到那邊去吧。」 36 門徒離開眾人，耶穌仍在船上，他們就把祂一同帶去；也有別的船和祂同行。 37 忽然起了暴風，波浪打入船內，甚至船要滿了水。 38 耶穌在船尾上，枕着枕頭睡覺。門徒叫醒了祂，說：「夫子！我們喪命，祢不顧嗎？」 39 耶穌醒了，斥責風，向海說：「住了吧！靜了吧！」風就止住，大大地平靜了。 40 耶穌對他們說：「為甚麼膽怯？你們還沒有信心嗎？」 41 他們就大大地懼怕，彼此說：「這到底是誰，連風和海也聽從祂了。」 (馬可福音四35-41)

There were also other boats with Him. 37 A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. 38 Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, don’t You care if we drown?” 39 He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. 40 He said to His disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?” 41 They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey Him!” (Mark 4:35-41)

分享：或許我們對風暴不會感到陌生，然而風暴卻有很多不同類別，當中包括：雷暴 (Thunderstorm) 、颶風(Hurricane)、龍捲風 (Tornado) 、沙塵暴 (Dust Storm) 等，當中以雷暴最為常見。原來，全球每天大約有2,000到3,000場雷暴發生，這些雷暴大多發生在熱帶和溫帶地區。雷暴常伴隨著強烈的閃電、雷聲和暴雨。馬拉開波湖 (Lake Maracaibo) * 是全球著名的風暴多發地區之一。這個湖位於委內瑞拉的西北部，是拉丁美洲最大的內陸湖，並且因其特殊的氣候條件，每年會經常發生強烈的雷暴，尤其是在夜間。這些風暴被稱為"馬拉開波雷暴" (Catatumbo lightning) ，這都是人所不能控制的！(根據研究，這個地區每年會發生大約140到160個雷暴。)
聖經中提到大自然的各種現象和力量，並強調這些是神創造的奇妙作品。正如詩人所言：「祂看地，地便震動；祂摸山，山就冒煙。」 (詩篇一零四32) 這段經文提醒我們，大自然的力量和現象是神創造和控制的，任何風暴也不例外。這樣奇妙可畏的風暴，給我們以下三個提醒：
1. 神永遠掌管：耶穌在《馬可福音》曾平靜風暴，這顯示了祂對自然界的完全掌控：「耶穌醒了，斥責風，向海說：「住了吧！靜了吧！」風就止住，大大地平靜了。」(馬可福音四39)
2. 神作出警示：在某些情況下，風暴或其他自然災難可以被看作為神的警示或試煉，用來提醒或教導人類。例如，耶和華在《約拿書》中以大風暴來使約拿悔改並引導他走該走的路。
3. 神總有安慰：儘管風暴可能帶來災難，但神總會提供保護和安慰。像大衛在詩篇中表達對神的信靠，神被描述為我們的避難所和力量，即使在風暴來臨時，祂也能給予我們平安和安慰（參詩篇四十六1-3）。
反思：今天，我們正在經歷什麼人生風暴？其中有什麼提醒？我們相信神在掌權嗎？我們明白神在其中的警示嗎？我們相信神必有安慰嗎？
禱告：親愛的天父，感謝祢創造了大自然的一切，祢的智慧和能力顯明在每一場風暴中。無論是自然界的雷暴、颶風，還是我們人生中的試煉，祢都是那位掌管一切的主。求祢在我們面對人生風暴時，賜給我們信心，幫助我們察覺祢的警示，並在祢的安慰中得著平安。願我們在每一次挑戰中，深信祢的愛與力量，無論風暴如何，都能依靠祢不動搖。以上禱告，奉主耶穌得勝的名求，阿們。
